Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

Really pleasant country course.

My round of golf 5/22/2019
It was a beautiful day, sunny, mid 70's, low humidity. The course was in excellent shape and the staff very friendly and efficient. The only down side was the pace of play with many, many golfers taking advantage of the great weather conditions.

Can't really go wrong with any of these courses (Spooky, Royce, Warren, Neshanic, Green Knoll)
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Was able to get out shortly before my scheduled tee time and paired up with 2 other guys.
Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape. Greens were fast and are getting there in terms of bumps and blemishes. Really nice layout and can't go wrong with a hot deal here!
Fun course!
Great course, must watch the greens, its fast. Take you time reading them.
Excellent Early Season Conditions
Played a few rounds already around NJ in March and most courses are still trying to reach adequate conditions and I’ve refarined from any type of negative review because it’s to be expected this time of year. Spooky Brook however deserves a shout out for the standard of its greens so early in the season, credit to all involved because they were in unbelievable shape and rest of the course wasn’t bad either and was beginning to take shape.

Played here for the first time in over 10 years and after a rainstorm and stil early in the season the course was in great shape and it was a lot of fun to get out there
