Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

The grounds keepers do a GREAT job keeping this course playable. All the rain wind and cold temps doesn’t seem to matter. The course is clean and pretty smooth!!!
One note to all golfers out there....REPAIR YOUR DIVIT MARKS....
Excellent flat course
Excellent non tricky course
First nine are challenging and reasonably layed out to provide moderate challenging game
Back Nine are much more challenging with some interesting holes.
Staff are super friendly
You can also pay $6 and get a small basket of balls to warm up.
Wonderful hidden hem
Played spooky on a windy fall day not many golfers out today the staff and maintenance people are very proud of this course it’s in beautiful shape greens got aerated two weeks ago and are almost perfect it truly is a hidden jem busy public course on weekends but if you can play weekdays it’s fantastic
Pretty Bland
Wide open and straight away. Conditions were good especially with all the rain we have had. Greens were good even though they aerated last week, just slow.
No WOW factor here.

A very nice course in nice condition. Fairly flat if you want to walk it. Very solid course.
This course is in excellent condition
No complaints at all. Teed off on time,never had to wait as we moved at our own pace. Tee boxes,fairways and greens were in excellent shape.. there was water in some sand traps but considering the recent rain this was to be expected. I would definitely play here again and recommend it to others.

Great NJ Course
Second time I have played Spooky Brook. Course is kept in excellent condition, greens were good. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is slowly becoming one of my favorites as the pace of play is excellent at 3:30-4 for 18 holes. Fairways are forgiving yet still challenging. Enjoyable course to play. I would recommend it.
Pleasant straightforward course
When you need a course that is not going to beat you over the head for every mistake but yet still be well maintained and run, then Spooky Brook is for you. Wide fairways, fair greens and only a bunker here and there to avoid. You can still lose a golf ball here or there but you have to work to do so. Great pace of play as well.
Fun but easy course
First time playing Spooky Brook, and it’s safe to say it won’t be my last time either. Booked a Golf Now hot deal the day of, showed up at the course and got out ten minutes early. Course was in very good condition, greens were a bit slow. The layout is pretty easy, with lots of straight holes and the course isn’t too long. Only hit driver on the 4 par 4’s, didn’t need it anywhere else. Overall good experience.
