About
Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

Good course
The course layout was nice. Longer than your average public course. Open fairways.
Very disappointed that there was not even a snack bar or snack hut at the turn. No bar. No cart girl. Nothing.
Good course with tricky greens
Good course but with people coming from other fairways too, so need to watch! Likes the layout and pace of play. Greens were challenging
Nice Course
Very nice course fairways are wide open, pace of play was a little bit slow but still an enjoyable course. Looking forward to playing there this summer.
Steady
A pleasant surprise for a March day. However it really doesn't matter because whatever time of year I play at spooky Brook the course is always in good condition and the employees are always very helpful.
GROWING ON ME
the first time i played this course a few years back was not a big fan. for some reason i am understanding the layout and appreciate its simplicity and now enjoy playing it. good test of golf with its variety of holes.
Flooded
Played in rain..slight drizzle, probably less than quarter of an inch yet every fairway and every green was flooded. The course does not drain..it was impossible to put in the puddle of water. Maybe they should have closed the course..would not recommend this course when it’s raining or even afterwards.
Staff makes a difference
The best thing about this course is its staff working there. Friendly and eager, they get you out there as fast as they possibly can even if it’s not your reserved tee time.
Thank you for making it a pleasant and fun experience.
fun course with some good holes
the first time i played here last year didnt think much of it. guess because the day we played it was a 5 hour round. this time it was 37 degrees and only 8 other Eskimos out there. found the layout better this time around with some solid golf holes. worth the cost if you can get for $40 or less. somerset really needs to get a vendor to take on the courses for burgers and beers
As usual great place
Awesome course. Great layout and pace of play is awesome. The winter conditions were great
Hidden Gem
for early December this course was in excellent shape great layout open but challenging par 4's
