Spooky Brook Golf Course

Overall a great golf course, would recommend to every golfer I know.

Open fairways make it more difficult to lose a ball than many narrow, wooded courses and that always make a round more fun. Course was in good condition, especially the greens.

Great course for beginner to intermediate golfers. Almost no water, nice long fairways without many obstacles. ReAlly enjoyed playing there.
There is no food or drink except water for a dollar or a soda vending machine.

Long par 4 s and 5 s which are challenging. And good par 3 s for average golfer , very long hitters might find course less so . Greens in great shape but a little slow could be speed up for more challenge , would play again

I played this course in the afternoon after a morning of light rain. The weather must have kept a lot of people at home because the course was pretty quiet. My friend and I were able to play a full round in under 3 hours (with a cart).

The course itself was in great condition considering the circumstances. A fairly easy course with wide open fairways, large greens, and good length. However, a lot of bunkers kept things interesting. I definitely will be back to play here again!

Good course and played relatively easier than normal but some groups were very slow.

They need Hot Dogs and a beer cart !!! Very nice course to play with your friends but no food or beverage.

Interesting course with very big greens with alot of bunkers, Many 60 foot putts, with very forgiving fairways on most holes.

Can't remember the last time I played such slow greens -- maybe never. Not enjoyable. Fairways and tee boxes were in fair condition at best.

I called the pro shop to inquire about the condition of the greens. He told me they are good. I get to the course and they still had holes from last fall's aeration. Half the greens were sand. I get that courses need to be maintained, but why lie to me about it?

This is a great (forgiving) course to play on a windy day, even with 48 degrees and 35 mph gusts. Chilly but I got paired up with golfers who would only be out there because they love the game. Very nice day to spend at Spooky Brook. See you next season, on the windy days!

Great course. Challenging at points but not ridiculous. If you can play accurate and hit the ball with a slightly better then average distance you will love this course. Shot placement will be your key to success. It has some challenges and well placed sand traps.

We play in late October with a few windy days before. It is to our surprise the leaves out of fairway and rough better than some country club. The only drawback is the aerating green that make the putt a little unpredictable.

Got lucky and had no one in front of us all day. 4-some off at 1:45 Friday afternoon and done before 5;00.

Spooky Brook is always a great course to play as the fairways are open and forgiving. Only complaint was the greens were just aerated. Still a fun time nice fall scenery and fox and hawks around. Got a great deal thru golfnow!

Course was well maintained. Great beginner course. I recommend this course for all type players. Enjoy

Date of play October 7 '14. Monday they airrated the greens. So unfortunate for me and golf partnered. However everything else is on the above average so give 2 weeks and go have a great time.

Best all year value and conditions played in 3hours every one happy

Played 8/21. 3pm great value. Wide open. 3hr round. Will definitely come back.

Got a great deal on golfNow. Overall condition of the course was very good. The greens were excellent. They were just as good as a private county club. A liitle tricky though. It helps to hit it long and straight but is wide open for any wayward shots.
The staff were very friendly.
Very nice day of golf.
