About
Quail Brook Golf Course in Somerset is one of central New Jersey's top public courses. The challenging design is a favorite amongst local golfers. The layout has a diverse mix of holes, some of which are spacious and wide-open and others that are rolling and tight. Although the golf course may seem short at 6,630 yards from the back tees, don't be fooled by the yardage. The course can feel much longer thanks to the hilly terrain. The front nine has subtler undulations while the back nine is dramatically hilly, which makes it a tough course to walk. Quail Brook Golf Course's undulating fairways lead to challenging sloped greens that are framed with strategically placed bunkers. There aren't too many opportunities for driving, but your short game will definitely get a workout.

Solid public course
Conditions were great. Tee boxes and green were immaculate. Springtime golf was perfect. Will play again

I very much enjoyed playing Quail Brook.
The fairways were fairly wide, which made it easier to stay in the short grass, but I found the length of many of the holes to be quite challenging. I did walk the course, which added to the challenge. I was charged an incredibly low rate. Thanks for a great time!
Amazing bang for your buck
Walking a twilight round is $32 for an out of county member but I was able to get it for as low as $19.09 with my promo code on GolfNow. Front is flat and back is extremely hilly / challenging. Highly recommend, well groomed and even though the greens were punched two days prior it was a blast out there.
Beautiful and reasonably priced
Tough course, a lot of sand-kept in great condition especially for early in the season.
Forgot what a gem this is
Only get to Quail 2-3 times a year. It is the 2nd best public course in Somerset but really not that far behind Neshanic.try it....you will enjoy it!
Fastest round I ever played
Started at 4:15 finished 17 holes in 2:57 just couldn’t get the last hole in had to return the cart
