Deep Creek Golf Club

Was looking for a diamond in the rough and only found the rough. Tee time was at 12:15 and they didn’t have a cart ready nor could we walk and tee off before 12:45… the greens were either slower than beetle juice or looked like the Middle East after President Trump was in office. For $71 dollars this time of year you are better off paying 10 extra dollars and playing at east wood. All in we play 15 holes in 5 hours and left.

Course was in bad shape , the greens were bumpy and rough , but I did get my first hole in one on the 11th !!!!!

Great layout, but not well maintained

took 4 hours and 45 minutes to play a course with 6 par 3's.

7 minute tee times should be able to work on this course but didn't

Slow greens. Slow pace of play. Mainly due to walkers

This is the second time playing there. It’s not a bad course. The condition of the course is not bad. The greens are fast, and in good shape. The pace of play very slow. A lot of old people play here, and beginners. 5 hour round both times that I played there.

Too many par 3’a slow down play as you wait. We were backed up waiting for 2 groups throughout the round. I love the layout but the round was too long

A bit bigger than most executive courses, Deep Creek provides 6000 yards at par 70, at a decent price. However, lots of member locals and pace of play can be slow.

Grass to high on the greens, very slow

Need a ranger out there to move people holding up the course

I wrote a previous review that has been taken down. Why? You want a truthful review or not?

The day I played, the weather was perfect and I was looking forward to the round. Started 35 minutes past our tee time, on the way to a 5 hour plus round. I noticed the tee sheet had double booked times ahead of us. No wonder we started late.

If you like slow play and slow greens, this is your place. Greens are pit-marred and weedy.

Personally, I won't be back. EVER.

6 par 3’s not good for pace of play.. greens were in terrible shape with weeds all over them. Very slow..tee boxes and fairways need TLC

IDeep Creek ihas removed all the recent reviews because they have been so bad rightfully so.This course is in terrible condition and greens are bumpy slow The rounds takes up to five hours, and the price is so out of range it’s ridiculous. Do not play this course. There’s other courses around that are much better and cheaper.

The course overall is not bad. The fairways are good, rough not bad, layout good, the only complain that I have is that the greens are super slow, like they need to be cut. The parking is terrible. I had to look for parking for 10 minutes. Finally I had to park on the grass on a hill across the course. Not very good!
