Much better than you think
Wasn't pleased when I saw the. Score cards. A short course which would be easy

Golfing in High Season
I was able to find Deep Creek on Golf Now at a reasonable price. I live in Fort Myers and I've found that if I'm willing to drive 10-20 minutes more I can find good golf courses at reasonable prices. Deep Creek is one of these course. There's plenty of water around and uneven greens to challenge me. The pace of play moves along but in high season, I expect some snafus. But that's ok. The ranger does a good job moving things along. I really enjoy this course and the staff is very friendly.
Terrible management
They were totally over booked.
Five and a half hours to play. The over dressing on the greens made putting almost impossible.
I gave up tee times at another course and I totally regret that.
I’ll not be back.
Nice course, just don’t be in a hurry!
Played my first round at Deep Creek yesterday while visiting my parents in SW Florida. The staff is friendly, and the course in challenging and in decent condition. However, we couldn’t start on time for our 2:28 tee time because it was so backed up, and we were unable to finish our 18 hole round. It literally took 2 hours to play the first 5 holes. Fun place to play, I just wish we could have finished.
Poor course management
Got to the course 25 min. in advance of scheduled tee time. Check in was unfriendly/blunt. Starter left for lunch - his replacement informed that tee times were running 30 minutes behind. Turned out to be 35 minutes behind when we teed off. Course was in fair condition except greens had been sanded (or some greenish stuff) which dragged the ball to a stop. Took over 5.25 hrs to play. Also, the temperature was 82 but water jugs on course were empty. Management needs to wake up and see what is going on at this course.
Over booked
Had a 303 teetime started a little late but took an hour and a half to get through the first four holes. Needless to say we did not get to play all 18 holes. Other than that everything was just fine
Slow play
Nice short course with plenty of trouble. Would have been nice to get to back nine ,but 2:45 hours for nine holes was enough after starting 25min late.
Excellent Value
Great track for the $$. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Beverage cart and marshals were on-course.
Will definatly return.
Course was in great shape.
Course/fairways/greens were in great shape. Pace of play was surprisingly good!
Great Experience
Coming from Illinois this was a very good time, We were paired with a wonderful couple from Canada and thoroughly enjoyed the day, The value for the money was worth it, The course was crowded but pace of play was just fine, The rangers were friendly and did A GOOD JOB, not only being visible but stopping to say HI. We are planning on returning next week.
Fun, fair , Florida course
We arrived early for our tee time and had a delicious breakfast. The staff was friendly and accommodating on what was a very busy day. We teed off right on time. The golf course was in decent condition, the pace of play was reasonable.
Great New Years day
Great way to start the year.i though the coarse was in good shape compared to last spring. Played with three other good golfers and we all enjoyed the coarse. Can’t wait to go back.

First time play
I was by my self and got paired up with 2 other singles. One was a club member and other a 2nd time visitor. I found the greens small and very fast, a nice challenge. I like the challenge of 14 water holes along with the very good raked traps. Staff very friendly
Long Day
Course was in good, not great shape. Greens were the best feature, tees, fairways and bunkers were good. Pace of play though was horrible. The round took 5 hours and 15 minutes even though guys from the pro shop went out to the course twice to get the offending parties to speed up ( to no avail).
