Deep Creek GC
Deep Creek is a really nice course to play. It's not stressful and is fairly straight forward with no hidden surprises to bite you when you're not looking (except for the occasional resident gator). Tee boxes are in OK condition, as are the fairways. Greens are in fine condition too. The cart gal is a welcome sight especially in the heat we're experiencing now. Currently, there has been a lot of afternoon thundershowers and the waters accumulate on the course and makes it cart path-only golf. With the wide fairways, there can be a lot more walking than you expected. Only downside we noticed is that there are ' local tournaments' playing and if you are unfortunate enough to get stuck behind them, you're stuck and will lose any momentum you may have built up as you wait and wait. Maybe a good idea to check with the course about any tournaments in advance of booking.
But Deep Creek is such a fun course, i would recommend it to everyone.

The course was in good condition.
The greens were fast and ture the best I have played on in the area .
nice layout
Had a great day, pace of play was great and so was the course condition.
Great Greens, Plenty of Water
Played this course six times in the past two months, about 6,000 yards from the whites. Great course to learn on, wide fairways, and holes that dictate, “Do not hit driver, must hit the ball here.” A 10:51 TT for $35 included lunch. Great value overall.
Top dressed greens
I like this course, short but well layed out. Only problem with this visit is that the greens had just been top dressed and there was no notice online or at the pro shop. Not only top dressed, but excessively so. Left footprints when walking and because of the dew, balls were completely covered in sand after putting. Fee of $20.00 would have been more in line. Recommend signage when course maintenance is going to interfere with play.
Barbara & Bruce Deep Creek
My wife and I travel in our motorhome and play golf as much as we can in different states and cities. We were camping in Punta Gorda Florida area and the weather was perfect the day we played golf at Deep Creek Golf Course. The course for a Florida course was in excellent condition. The green were very fast and you needed to keep the ball under the hole, traps were in great shape and easy to get out of. The staff was very helpful and the club house and restaurant were beautiful. I would highly recommend playing Deep Creek Golf Course if you are in the Punta Gorda Florida area, great course and a great GolfNow Hot Deal value.
lots of water
make sure you have a look to where you are to place your tee shot
nice course
Fast greens , course in good shape for this time of year. Staff were very accommodating and Manager was very thoughtful and fair.
Deep Creek
I’ve always liked this course, although during the peak periods of January through mid April it can be slow going.
traps
This is Florida where we are surrounded by sand. Would it kill someone at Deep Creek to actually put some in their bunkers?
Deep Creek
We haven't played Deep Creek in quite a few years....Since its several miles from Sarasota Fl we prefer to play more locally...A hot deal came up so we took advantage of it...Deep Creek is a nice course and was worth the "hot deal" price but I/we wouldn't drive 30 plus miles each way to play it at the normal rack rate.. We'll stay closer to our immediate area in the future....
Winter Golf
Like the course as it is close to our destination. We find the pace of play pretty slow as the tee times seem pretty close together. Overall it's a pretty course , challenging enough for my husband and not too tough that I was frustrated. The staff are friendly and their restaurant and bar are top notch!
Challenging but fun course
One of the nicest courses in the area Pro shop staff was friendly and the starter had us on the tee box on time. Pace of play was under 4 hrs. I will definitely return soon.
Wednesday Afternoon
Great round of golf - a little windy but enjoyed he day and course. Staff is very friendly and a great place to enjoy golf.
Nice layout
The course was in decent shape for this time of year. A few bare patches, but very playable. With a little rain course will be good.
