Deep Creek Golf Club

Tee times were running 30 minutes late. We waited on every hole. They allow walkers all the time yet they schedule tee times 7 minutes apart. They should not allow walkers until after 1 pm and the pace of play would be much better. Course was okay for the money.

Today I teed off at 1430 behind a herd of senior citizens with their clubs on wheels. After asking if I may please tee off the back since no one was at the box and it was just myself, the starter stated, " These ladies will play faster than you with a cart." This statement turned out to be 100% false. I did not finish the front nine till after 1700. I feel this is unacceptable and very upset I was unable to finish the full 18 holes. This play of pace was miserable, ALMOST rather of been working. Email sent to the GM with no response.

Cute short course. Lots of water and bunkers, which were better than the bunkers of any course I have recently played. The course is quite busy. When we finished the PM players were waiting for carts. Nice staff. Driving range is irons only and in reality might good for many golfers. Put the driver away on several holes. Nice shotmaking course. It helps if you play the first time with a member or with someone who is familiar with the layout.

Good challenging course in good shape,greens were a little on the slow side.I booked thru golf now because it was less costly than booking direct,would like to be able to book directly without having to go thru golf now at a competitive price.

It was shorter than what I am used to but was challenging.
You can get into trouble with the water.

The pace of play was so slow you have better start playing around noon to finish before dark. I wish I could say something positive about the course but I can't. I can say that the guy in the pro shop was helpful and the starter tried to keep things moving.

Decent course, but course yardage markers are not accurate. They need to laser and replace erroneous yardage markers. Play is slow, but then, it's January in Florida, so it is expected. If you scatter gun you shots, you can get in trouble.p

This was our second time of playing this course, and the pace of play this time was poor. In my view they just try to get too many people on the course and ruin it for everybody. Luckily we were paired up with 2 great guys from Michigan

This golf course is wide open. There was water along many holes and only really one that crossed the fairway. Although the course was crowded, the pace of play was not bad. The two people we were paired with only played nine holes. We then played the back nine as a twosome and we moved right along. I probably would not go back there. The course was in good condition considering the number of people out there.

As always, Golf Now does a good job of putting Value into their offerings but, there is good reason at Deep Creek. While the price was good as was the condition of the course, there were too many people on the course and pace of play was poor.

If I ever considered playing there again it would need to be at 10:00 AM or earlier. Shop staff and Starter were great but there was no Ranger.

Very crowded the day we played. We still got the round in 4 hours 15 min. This time of year (Jan) would be difficult to finish 18 Holes befor dark if you start anytime from 2pm and later. They do pair you up, which is good. Very enjoyable layout. Back nine has more character and les par 3's.

GREENS WERE EXCELLENT. TEES AND FAIRWAYS WEREBGOOD FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. SAND IN THE BUNKERS WAS PERFECT.

Deep Creak is always a fun place to play. Has plenty of challenge but is still friendly for the novice golfer. It gets quite a bit of play and can sometimes be slow. Other than that I highly recommend it.

Lots of water but most does not come into play unless you are a long hitter with a slice.

This course has four par-3's on the front nine. If you're off your game, they can kill your score- which they did to me. I've played other times and scored well. The back nine is like a totally different course - great fun.

The holes with length at Deep Creek are challenging.
But with 6 Par 3's not your average golf course.

Really enjoyable course with interesting holes. All the staff were very friendly and made us very welcome. Clubhouse atmosphere very good and food excellent. Will definitely return.

I like Deep Creek as I would like to buy a condo backing onto the golf course. It is a pretty golf course but a lot better value through Golfnow.com @ $30.00 rather than the regular price of $40.00.

Course was in decent shape..greens a it slow; but overall a good round and excellent value for the green fees price point.
