Long round
Course in decent condition considering no real rain since October Always a backup waiting to go off 1st tee 12:25 tee time Got started at 12:50 Finished around 5:30 But got a good price through golfnow so I will continue to play there when I can get a decent rate
Very slow play
Not a terrible course. Very dry and thin and that is not unexpected as dry as it has been here. Challenging with a few unusual hole layouts.
Deep creek
Nice course tee boxes were in rough shape but course otherwise was nice, challenging layout
Disappointing
This is an unattractive golf course in poor condition. Greens were fine but fairways are bare to thin, dormant bermuda. Hitting off them likened a pool table. Just terrible. If this course spent the money and overseeded with rye, I would try it again for less than $40 but anything more, forget it.
second time around
not bad course found the greens to be challenging came as a single foursome was friendly enjoyed the round could use some water
Good Value for Hot Deal
The pace of play on the front nine was pretty slow. The back nine moved at a good pace. The course should consider making the back nine the front nine since it is par 36 and room for foursomes to stretch out. The front nine has 4 par 3s which really backs up the course.
The conditions were pretty rough due to lake of rain and probably watering.
An OK Option
Playing golf at a reasonable cost in SW Florida during the winter season is challenging. Our 4some tried out Deep Creek for the first time. The course was busy and the pace was somewhat slow - 4 3/4 hours to play. Course conditions were ok at best. Fairways were dry, the greens were ok and the layout was pretty good. I will say that the staff was friendly and the grill was very good.
Greens are excellent!
Overall course conditions are good especially considering the dry conditions we are experiencing!
Green are fast and well kept. Pace was a little slow but the course was packed with golfers. Had a pleasant experience!
Good company
from the start treated well cart guy was great explaining amenities and protocols greens were nice struggled to make putts (my problem) course in good shape considering lack of rain played with two ladies one a member helped point out the trouble helped a great deal had to wait on wvert shot but still done in four hours.
Decent
This is a good value for the money with all of the southwest Florida courses thinking that they deserve $150/round in the winter time!
This course had decent greens, fairways & tees were okay, and the pace of play was great, played in just over 4 hours for 18 holes.
I didn't realize that the front nine 4 par 3s with a par of 34. Had a good amount of tees to choose from.
Overall, I am disappointed with all of the golf in this area with the rates being outrageous especially for retired seniors like myself. This is my 3rd course (new homeowner- snowbird in the area) and golf is now on hold with fishing taking its place.
Very slow greens
Interesting layout, but would not play again for the price and conditions. Greens looked nice but were extremely slow.
Decent conditions. Looks like the greens were sanded, but it didn't affect the roll. Greens were decent speed. Pace of play was excellent on the front and a little slower on the back. Played in 3:50...OK for a Tuesday afternoon.
