Sanibel Island Golf Club

Course has a fun layout in a beautiful setting. The only issue is the condition of the greens. lots of sandy areas on them. Looks to me that they need to maybe replace at least half of them in the near future. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Love the abundance of wildlife!

Course conditions continue to improve each time we play here. Friendly and helpful service. There is more challenging, and certainly there is less expensive golf elsewhere, but for convenience and comfort, we like Sanibel Island GC.

We enjoyed the course, but felt the value was better placed at no more than $75 per...citing no warmup/ practice facility, very small greens, no potable water on the course and no roving food/drink cart.

With a little more TLC this could be one of the most enjoyable tracks in SWF

Nice course,, good layout. Greens were slow some on the front nine should be replanted. That said the fair ways were good, and the course was very playable. Pace of play, not so good 5 hour round, I would definitely play it again, although I don’t think I’d pay more then 60

The conditions were being upgraded as we speak.The course was dry and slow, but how can you beat a day in the sunshine with so many iguanas, birds and at least one gator your hanging with. Starting on the back nine, seemed like it would be an easy day but had to think and play much better shots to end strong.

Nice course that was relatively easy to schedule. Greens are a bit small and work in progress. Seem to be getting better than reported by others earlier in the year so making progress. No marshall to keep things moving so we were waiting quite a bit. No refreshment cart.

If you had enough members you wouldn’t be selling tee times on golf now. Also price isn’t worth it.

Very nice, friendly staff, little too expensive compare to other places that I have played

I’ve been using the Golf Now app in my travels for a few years and this was really the first time I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth. This was the most I have paid for a round through the app ($116) which has included many rounds at too public courses, but the overall conditions of the course were more in like with $40 courses. Maybe the limited options on the island has something to do with it, but I expected a little more for a $110+ weekday round. The staff was very friendly and the clubhouse facilities were clean. The course has recently had aerification and a number of greens has recent repairs. Lots of water but easy to avoid on most holes. Most fairways were in good shape.

The staff at the pro shop and restaurant where outstanding and would make me come back just for them.
