Black Mountain Golf Course

We played Memorial Day and the course was busy, however pace of play was excellent. Tee to green the course was in very good shape. The Green Tee Grill was serving awesome handhelds and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

Seems like the facilities could use a little TLC and the course itself had some rough spots, like being in the fairway and it was either flooded or overgrown. Also around the greens the fringe had times where it was just so overgrown you might as well been in the rough but you are like 8 feet from the pin. Other than that amazing round, great staff, and awesome price point. Will definitely be back.

The course was fun too play some very wet spots which was understandable due to amount of rain that had fallen two days earlier. Ranger on course would of helped threesome in front of me would not let me join or pass which takes away some of the pace.

Really good conditions. Played from blue tees, and the only thing that I could say was that the tee boxes had some tough angles. Do not miss playing this course. The views are beautiful.

Very well maintained. Very tight and challenging. Lost more golf balls than I have in a long time. Thought the ranger had told me it was a nice short course. He must having been having fun as I found my first ever 700+ yard par 6. Most of the greens are blind, so it should go better on my next visit. Pace of play may be a challenge, fortunately they let me go off on 10 or I would have been behind two large groups that became one by the time I caught up with them again on the 6th hole toward the end of my day. Small restaurant on site.

Course was a little more difficult than the 127 slope rating from the Blue Tees. The Par 6 Hole #17 - 747 yards was great to play. Greens were slow but overall a very good value for $.

This is a must play golf course. Very friendly staff. Beautiful scenery.

Hadn't played here since last fall. Considering time of year the course was in excellent condition. Greens rolled true and fast, fairways are in midsummer form, traps looked to be replenished and we're raked. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Looking forward to playing here again soon.

It is early in the season and the greens had a sand top coating so greens were slow. They will be much faster as the season goes on.

Pro shop attendant is incredibly rude. They "aerated" the greens. This means every green and most tee boxes have a minimum half inch of sand covering them. No warning whatsoever. Was told to "go to the driving range" if we didn't like it.

Unless you are over the age of 60, they treat you like you're an inconvenience for wanting to give them your money and play there. I've played there many times. I've dealt with a rude pro shop attendant every time, and the "aerated" greens multiple times. This round was the last round I'll ever play there. Congrats, guys. I won't be showing up to inconvenience you with my money again.

The course was not very good pace of play was very slow had to wait on every shot just to be welcomed by pretty much sand greens and a dangerous layout
