Greens unfriendly
Golf is supposed to be fun. These rock hard, severely undulating greens ruin that fun !! Played in a tournament with 2 very good golfers. The only birdies resulted from poor shots that luckily rolled back near the hole. Too much emphasis on putting. Otherwise, the course was immaculate.
Exclusive Donald Ross in the mountains
original Ross design with some renovated greens. Great shape, well maintained. Open fairways and difficult greens. Beautiful view off of 15 green.
Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful.
Nice clubhouse with great view.

Redesign questions
Recently had the opportunity to play course after McConnell purchase and upfit. I have never played a 'true Ross course' that had tremendous swells on the greens. Course was in good shape but didn't care for the layout/flow of the course. Didn't feel like a classic Ross design.
Love the layout
This place is fantastic. Great layout and great shape. Had a blast the whole day. I would rate this course as the most "fair" as far as every shot around the course. It is long in a lot of spots, but very get-able on a few as well. Good balance from long irons to wedges in to the greens. If you have the opportunity, Tee it up here!
