Golfer Reviews
Fantastic
Beautiful area and exquisite course for the price ( hot deal) regular price seems like a great deal also, course is in excellent condition, fast pace of play never saw groups below or behind us after hole 3, saw more than 20 deer up close, pristine greens, solid rental clubs and fair price. Visiting and excited to return especially during fall color change. Friendly staff. Awesome spot cars are new with GPS would be a long course to walk, rather hilly
Connesstee falls
My son and I played the course from the blue tees, and yes it is a challenging course due to elevation changes. This course is worth every cent just for the scenery and wildlife! White squirrel and dozens of deer meander through the course freely but the course is in excellent shape, although the greens weren’t as fast as I thought they would be for this caliber of course but a good roll or two and they would be tiptopthis was the only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star
Great Experience
Second time we played here this week. Again, it was a great experience. Course was in excellent condition. Carts had GPS. Price was right and amenities were good. Highly recommend.
Hidden Gem
This course is in great shape...fairways, greens and bunkers. It is in the mountains so hilly and several beautiful vistas and elevation changes. Greens were quick and challenging if above the hole. Carts are like new and have GPS. We used a "hot deal", but it would be a very good value at the normal rate. A little out of the way, but worth the drive. We will play it again soon.
Hidden Gem
Heard about this course from a friend and really enjoyed the experience. It felt like I was a guest at a private course. The staff was extremely friendly and I found the golf course to be a hidden gem. Mountain golf at its best. The pro shop told me to “stay below the hole” on the greens and that was good advice. As with most mountain courses, the greens were the ,most challenging aspect of Connestee Falls. The views were great and a real treat seeing deer roaming several fairways.. conditioning was excellent with several fairways being crosscut. Front nine a little more open than the back nine but equally challenging.I’ll be back. Thanks
Superb
Everything top notch as usual. I love this course. Pace of play was agonizing. An older foursome in front of me. We were backed up 2 groups on every tee box. I took naps in the fairways. Just need a marshal out there to move things along. Won't stop me from going back though.
Into the Woods
My phone navigation took me right to the security gate without fail. After that, finding the pro shop and the course was a challenge. In many ways, we had the course to ourselves. I don't think we encountered any others until we got on hole #17, when we caught up to a foursome. Unfortunately, they had just punched the greens, so we took gimmes inside a putter club length. I will go back.
Visiting Asheville Area
Saw this course on a weekend hotdeal, it did not disappoint! Playing from blues you could take driver on most holes, some layup shots needed for some course management. Greens were just sanded which made for slower uphill putts, they should be getting better and better as days go by.
Mountain Golf
I live in NW Florida where golf courses are flat. I have been playing Connestee for years and always look forward to playing a challenging mountain course. Can't beat it.
