Always love the course…Course has beginning to show ware maybe due to excessive rain

My grandson and I are from FL and were looking for something completely different and got it here.

I am 81 and don't play very well and seem to tire early on during an 18 hole round. I started off well for the first several holes and then lit up a cigar. That made me a tad dizzy, so I can use that as an excuse for missed shots. It was hot and I did keep hydrated. The course stole 5 of my balls, but that is to be expected when I get tired. Anyway, I had a fun time playing alone and play moved along fine and opened up on the back 9. Love seeing deer every time I play.

Pace of play was great, two of us finished 18 in 3hrs. Course was everything you’d want in a mountain course, beautiful grass, lots of elevation change, deer on almost every hole. Definitely coming back

There is no beverage cart. Make sure to either stock up before you head out or buy at turn. I did see some regulars loading up small ice chests, the carts don’t have any. Not sure what the rules are about bringing your own stuff but they didn’t seem to be hiding them either. The hotdogs are amazing, btw. There are deer everywhere on the course.

this course is excellent

Course is in great shape, greens well-groomed (but wish folks would repair their divots), very few soft spots in fairways, rough is thick cut & challenging, friendly staff and a great price discount through GolfNow!

It took about 1 hr from Asheville. What a hidden gem. The course of play was a bit slow and wet. If it was not for that its a solid course. It you like mountain courses, you will love this course. Nice driving range and putting areas. Greens were well maintained. Don't hit OB my friend, you won't find it. Can't wait to play again.

Great course, didn't have to wait on anyone and didn't have anyone catch up until 18, with a full parking lot. Great course, great condition.

The experience was better than my high expectations. Great course layout and well manicured. As a bonus, mingled with deer on several of the holes.

The course was in great shape. First time playing since covid. A lot of work has been done here and the course was in emasculate condition. Wildlife was everywhere, course beautiful, couldn't ask for a better day.. can't wait to get back.

We drove over an hour to get to this course passing at least 4 other options on the way. But we had played there once before and knew this was all worth the drive phenomenal course, great staff, greens roll true, fair, but testing layout. Definitely recommend!

I've been playing this course for 15 years. Kurt Stegle and his staff have taken it to the next level. Connestee Falls has invested in hard scapes and increasing the practice facility size and scope. This George Cobb design limits bunkers but offers small, fast greens that will seduce you into some 3 putts. You will see deer multiple times per round.
