Connestee Falls Golf Course

Light shower when we started followed by cloudy condition. Got round in with only occasional showers, Course did not require cart path only so we were able to get round in.

True mountain course with beautiful views.

Love playing here. So pretty. Tons of wildlife. Worth the drive and if you catch the right day and time, a low density course that feels like a best kept secret of the Carolina’s. I keep wanting to try other courses in the area, but when I’m in town keep coming back to this one.

Excellent practice facilities, friendly helpful staff, greens and fairways in excellent condition. Even though I live an hour away this is absolutely worth returning to play again!

The course conditions and layout were absolutely spectacular! The views are amazing and there is wildlife on every hole. By far one of the best courses I have ever played. A must play if you are in the area

I had not given this course much thought in the last five or six years as when I would read about it in the past it just always sounded very average and not worth the 2 Hour drive for myself. However just out of curiosity I read some reviews this past weekend and I read nothing but rave positive reviews. I decided to give it a shot and this has become a new favorite course of mine. The course conditions were pristine teeto green. And the layout was great. It had a lot of fun and cool holes that were just visually pleasing when you're standing on the tea box. what I like most about the layout was it definitely is a mountain course with lots of elevation changes uphill and downhill and lots of dog legs but it's not a course that you're going to lose a ton of golf balls on. The fairways are huge and even the dog legs are more sweeping than tight and sharp the way you get on most mountain courses so it's really not a course that will beat you up the way some of these type of courses will. Very forgiving off the tee for the most part but still had its challenges because of the elevation changes and the greens were pretty small. The starter was very helpful and friendly but other than that we didn't really have Any other experience outside of the course itself. but I will say the entire layout the pro shop the grill and everything looked like a really nice set up it was a really nice surprise and glad we made the trip over there and will do so again. For the really good players around scratch for example it might not be challenging enough simply because its not long from the tips and such forgiving fairways but it would suit even the snobbiest of golfers as far as the course conditions.
