Connestee Falls Golf Course

I had not given this course much thought in the last five or six years as when I would read about it in the past it just always sounded very average and not worth the 2 Hour drive for myself. However just out of curiosity I read some reviews this past weekend and I read nothing but rave positive reviews. I decided to give it a shot and this has become a new favorite course of mine. The course conditions were pristine teeto green. And the layout was great. It had a lot of fun and cool holes that were just visually pleasing when you're standing on the tea box. what I like most about the layout was it definitely is a mountain course with lots of elevation changes uphill and downhill and lots of dog legs but it's not a course that you're going to lose a ton of golf balls on. The fairways are huge and even the dog legs are more sweeping than tight and sharp the way you get on most mountain courses so it's really not a course that will beat you up the way some of these type of courses will. Very forgiving off the tee for the most part but still had its challenges because of the elevation changes and the greens were pretty small. The starter was very helpful and friendly but other than that we didn't really have Any other experience outside of the course itself. but I will say the entire layout the pro shop the grill and everything looked like a really nice set up it was a really nice surprise and glad we made the trip over there and will do so again. For the really good players around scratch for example it might not be challenging enough simply because its not long from the tips and such forgiving fairways but it would suit even the snobbiest of golfers as far as the course conditions.

An absolute must play. The deer are everywhere but they need to work on the deer's golf etiquette. One of the best you will ever play.

Was in great shape .... I never adjusted to the speed of the greens compared to my home course so a lot of my of my came up short. The greens were NOT slow..... All on me for not compensating....

I would play there again for the GN rate.

We had 2 people want to join late, for a total of 6. We called the clubhouse and they worked us in from two threesomes without messing with anyone else on their tee sheet. Food after the round was great. Course was in terrific shape, no 2 holes looked or felt the same and demanded your whole bag be used for the differing shots. Enjoyed it so much we impulsively booked another 18 after lunch (for a heavily discounted replay rate). Look forward to playing the course again!

Overall wonderful experience - easy reservation & check-in, on-time tee start, friendly staff, range and putting green in great shape, fairways and greens in great condition, and pace of play was pretty good.

Visiting NC for a golf trip. Was told I had to play here and it did not disappoint. Great value for the price. Was in great condition

Course in great shape - greens, faiirway & tee boxes well groomed; traps looked good although didn’t test(!); Pro Shop & Starter very friendly; carts & digital score-card worked well; great views & experience!
