I have played here before but the greens were not their best. #3 was using a temporary green. Greens had been recently aerated (In August?-Why?) and a little shaggy. Layout is challenging even though 3-4 holes are sort of goofy. Pretty views. I breezed through the front nine, but back nine I had to wait on every tee. A decent course but greens were a slight disappointment.

The grounds are kept very well and looked beautiful! Some greens have recently been aerated making them not look as pretty but they still played well. Some of the sand traps are undergoing maintenence which makes it impossible to hit out of one if you make it in there. The only problem with the course is the temporary hole on the front 9. They are redoing a hole and in the process kept a temporary hole open. It's 125yds to the "green" which was just the fairway. Not a fun hole. We tried to putt on it and just decided to skip it. Other than that it was a great time! Love the course!

Tee boxes and fairways in great shape, with that said the greens were bad...greens had some other type of grass coming up which directed putts any which way... and hole 3 which is a short par 4 they made into a 125 yard hole by sticking a flagstick in the middle of the fairway with a faint white line painted to make it a green...in all fairness when you come up to the tee box they did have a sign apologizing about the hole...so for the them to still charge 45+ dollars for a round of golf while the greens are in the shape they are and the third hole is a joke.

Course is great - I like playing here. However, the greens are in poor shape - many dry spots and weeds. For the price, this is not acceptable. Also, the staff is missing on small things like keeping the ball washers filled (on the course and on the carts).

The landscape is beautiful. Course is challenging with few flat lies and tough greens. Greens were in bad shape and one par three was using temp green on fairway. Not worth the price paid for such bad course condition.

Have been playing this course for years. It's always in good, not great condition. I played it for the first time this year and was really sad to see how poor of shape most of the greens were in. Some parts of certain greens were completely lost or unplayable. The poor conditions don't encourage proper care from the players so ball marks are everywhere, and I had to do several repairs on most of the greens in order to have a fair roll. Very sad situation for what was a premium public course at one time. New management is needed.

greens were very beat up and had goose grass growing in them. No marshall led to a 6 hour round. course took the GPS off the carts, why?

The management has really let this place go downhill. its sad to see because the course is in a beautiful location and has so much potential to be a top notch course. very cool hole lay outs and scenery, but the conditions and atrocious pace of play make it not even worth it to come here. the greens were so bumpy and patchy that putts would dive right and left without warning. the pace was so slow it took us 6 hours to finish our round. we also had to tee off 30 minutes late because they are that far behind on a regular basis. save your money and go somewhere else.

The greens are in very bad condition. Many dead spots and weeds growing. Also very bumpy and overall just in awful condition. The fairways were long and not cut recently and many bunkers are now full of grass. Disappointed in the overall condition for such a high price. The round also took 5 hours. Unacceptable all around.

The course was in great shape and the staff was awesome. However, there were just too many people for my liking. My twosome teed off at 5:03 pm and we were unable to finish 18 holes in nearly four hours of play.

I'm a little biased as this is one of my favorite courses. I played this course a little over a month ago and it took nearly 5.5 hours to complete due to traffic but on Saturday I was done in 3.5 hours.

-Overall course was in great shape. #3 is a temporary hole but they cant be too far away from opening the new green

-We had a 4-some in front of us that refused to let 2somes play through. A call was made to the clubhouse and they came out and remedied the situation within 5 minutes. Much appreciated.

-Greens were slow but rolled smoothly. The lack of firm greens is what is holding this course back IMO

-It was 90+ degrees playing from 11-3 and we had numerous stops from the beverage cart to make sure we were OK.

I usually don't have any complaints other than pace of play but today it was not an issue.

Well maintained. Requires variety of shot making. You will enjoy your rounding.

I played on a weekday for $26 (great deal) and zipped around an empty course in 2.5 hours.

Having played here before, a couple of general points. First the course is usually in good condition. Several holes are very challenging, especially off the tee due to tight driving areas or very sloped fairways that can take a center-fairway drive and roll out into the rough or worst.

Couple of disappointments this time. First, the greens were very slow, muni-slow. Slowest I have played in years. Expect a little faster from a higher end course. Second, ongoing course construction impacts play. Don't know why they ruined a really good, drivable, par 4 (#3# and made it a long par 3. Also the work on 17 and 18 #abandoned bunkers) has been going on at least a year.

Can't complain too much for the price and the speed of play. Would definitely avoid the weekends here though. Too expensive for those greens and too many holes where hackers will be looking for lost balls.

Pevely Farms is a gorgeous course, I would play it every day of my life if I could. Perfect conditions, very beautiful, and it felt like no one was around for miles.

We played Sunday morning 7/12/15. We paid a Premium/ over $60 to play Pevely. Unfortunately, we were not informed prior to booking that the course had put a Temporary green in on hole #3 and has not done anything with at least 2 bunkers on holes 17. They are completely unplayable. My complaint is with the price we paid to play a supposedly "High Quality" course when infact it is at best average.

I play Pevely 3-5 times per year and it is a very good layout. Although a fairly open course, the difficulty comes in the elevation changes and undulations of the fairways. There aren't that many even lies anywhere.
Greens were in good condition the other day, although a bit slower than usual. The only two negative things I have to say are that Hole #3 is basically closed due to them having to move the green up and push the tee box back. This is a loooong project and will affect play all year. On Hole #18, which is an excellent finishing hole, there needs to be some SERIOUS work done on the fairway bunkers. They are in terrible shape and really detract from the overall experience. What happened?!? PLEASE FIX THIS!!

Great course. The only major issues were the slow pace and construction on Hole #3. The pace started off terribly slow, with a large backlog on the first tee. We were close to 30 minutes behind by the time our turn rolled around. It eased up a bit after the first few holes, but still took about 5.5 hours to finish the round. Hole #3 is being worked on, so they had some sort of green set up in the fairway. Couldn't putt on it, so the hole was more or less a throwaway. The rest of the course was in good shape with nice variety. The back 9 was tougher than the front and the course didn't seem very walkable.
