The Pines at Elizabeth City

Well kept course that has tight fairways and elevated greens.

I play at The Pines a lot. Staff is always friendly and willing to chat it up. I always bring my kids who are 5 & 3 with me to play in the mornings to beat the rush. The staff is extremely supportive of young kids getting on the course to learn. Always impressed each time I go. Course is getting back into shape. Greens are beginning to roll more true. Looking forward to getting back out there.

Course is tight too much up and down. Need distance to water marks.

Course was in good shape for this time of year. Staff was very nice, we had a great lunch also. I wouldn't recommend starting anywhere near lunch time. They have a bunch of regular players that feel they own the place. They start around noon, so stay clear. It's a shame this was the worst part of this course.

GREAT GOLF COURSE, STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND ACCOMODATING. FACILITIES IN GREAT SHAPE. NICE GOLF CARTS AND CONCRETE GOLF PATHS. NESTLED IN A WOODED NATURAL AREA. VERY RELAXING.

Have the time of your life here! Friendly atmosphere, great conditioned course, tricky, love it.

This is an Incredible Track if your in OBX or Virginia Beach DEFINITELY worth the drive everything about this course was great fairways greens staff if this course was in a more populated area they would attract quite the attention. A little over an hour drive from OBX. This is a REAL Golf Course helps to be able to move it both ways off the Tee. No Gimmicks just Great Golf.

This is is one of the best courses in Eastern North Carolina. The condition of the course was excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the lunch in their restaurant was very good.

Had a great time. Awesome condition with us just having had a hurricane last week. Friendly staff and the other golfers were also friendly and courteous. I will got back.

Drove down from Norfolk. Course was in excellent condition. Everyone in my foursome had a great time. We will definitely be back.

We drive from hamton roads several times a year to play the pines. Very well maintained course and a challenge for every level of player. Food/drink at the Bistro is ecellent. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Person working desk as soon as I walked began complaining that GN is not listening to them and they have no Tee-Times available for the time I booked. Made me feel very bad about the entire process. I doubt I will be returning to this course again...

Enjoyed our rounds of golf. Great price found on GolfNow, we have played this course a number of times. Enjoy the layout. Greens and fairways were in great condition.

I know I said "excellent to all the above" this course is very nice usually, and that is why I rated it this way.
Unfortunately it has rained almost every day here in Northeast North Carolina and the course retained water, so where it landed was as far as you got and it was Golf Cart on Path Only, and my shoes were soaked and of course I hit in swampy conditions alot.
Just wouldn't have been fair to say "Fair" it is a challenging course that I have yet to say I have conquered it, so "I'll Be Back".

I guess I t's worth the drive if you live within 45 mins but wouldn't recommend the course if you are driving further then that. Not super challenging but it's in pretty decent shape. A few of the holes were fun but not sure if I'd play there again. Can't hit driver on the driving range so don't expect to practice with it before your round.

Great conditions from tee to green. Worth the trip.

This is a very good course. The staff is friendly and courteous. The owner has taken a very personal interest its development and operations. The pro Dave Masseti seems to be an excellent manager and welcomes each guest with genuine friendliness and professionalism. I enjoyed playing the Pines and look forward to my next visit.
