The toughest Par 3 in state
I had a great experience playing at this course. The course was in excellent condition, the staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere made for a very enjoyable day of golf. Everything was well maintained, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into providing a quality experience for golfers. This is one of the toughest par 3 courses in the state.
My only recommendation would be regarding the cart fees. Currently, the cart fee is $15 per seat, which can add up quickly for families. For example, a father and son simply looking to enjoy the day together ends up paying an additional $30 of you book walking and later decided it's to much walking. I don't recommend walking the course. Adjusting the cart fee structure could make the overall cost of a round more affordable and accessible for families who want to spend quality time together on the course.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to playing here again.
First hole in one
I made my first hole in one. The course was very nice that day, cool and overcast.
Great Exec Course
We very much enjoyed our round. The course is in great shape and very forgiving if you miss the fairways or greens. I did have to use my driver from the forward tees on a couple of the par 3s and a few of the pin placements were pretty difficult.
Good afternoon of golf
The Willowbrook course is basic but a nice executive course. There is water and traps on several holes to add to the experience. The drawback is no carts rented out after 3:00 and the cost for a cart can be as much as the green fees. Push carts are perfect for this course. It was in good shape and pace of play was reasonable.
Peaceful walking course.
The course had a nice practice area and driving range. Some longer par three and four holes to bring out longer irons. Water and trees made it very scenic. Clean comfort stations and resting benches. Smooth pace of play. Fairways were very well kept and the rough wasn't too bad either. The greens were rolling smooth and very challenging with their layout.
Very enjoyable executive course.
Nice Executive Course
The course was great for practicing your short game. Pace of play was great! Course was in nice shape.
First Time
Enjoyed course and staff, nice course for amount of time it took to play. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will play again.
Be a good putter
Very challenging putting. Pin placements are tough. Greens and fare ways are in very good shape for this time of season
Excellent scoring practice
Tee boxes in good shape. For a short course there’s still some variability in distances off the tee. Few driver holes. The greens were soft but rolling fairly nice, around a 10 probably. Great practice for scoring opportunities. Pace of play wasn’t too bad either. Remember you’re in sun city and have some patience!
Better than expected.
Pace moved great. Staff was friendly even though I saw reviews that said they didn’t like Golf Now golfers. We played earlierly so able to secure the needed cart for a family member. Easy course to walk and they had pull carts available.
No carts available
Played here plenty of times and gotten a cart at check in no problem. Can’t get a tee time with a cart and when trying to get one at the shop they don’t have any available. Everyone there brings their own cart and none to use? My partner nearly had a heat stroke walking the course with her bag even with a push cart. Barely made it through 9 and not close to being worth it for the cost. Plenty of other courses around the area
What it lacks in length, it makes up with challenging greens.
I have always enjoyed the pace of play on this course over that of its big brother, Willow Creek. This course can be played with irons only if you want a greater challenge. The greens are designed for a very skilled player. Birdies are a tease.
