About
Wolf Run Golf Club is one of south Reno's most popular courses. The course is situated amid the Sierra Foothills, tumbling across a picturesque desert landscape sprinkled with native flora. The layout has many risk-reward opportunities and the par-3 holes are especially fun. The hilly terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing some tricky uneven lies and there is a meandering creek that slithers along the fairways. Though it's wide open, the golf course requires a bit of accuracy and some good course management. The elevated tees offer some spectacular views as well as some intimidating approaches to the fast, undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Wolf Run also has a practice facility with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. You can also get your clubs repaired on site.

Good time despite the weather!
1st time! Good layout! Very fair and in good condition! Great that inspite of the weather/rain, we were able to drive the cart in the rough, it would have been miserable had it been "carts on the path"
5somes!
i enjoyed this course very much. We flew around the front nine, until we got to the back nine where there was a 5some of some old guys who didn’t seem to care about the pace of play. I hate 5somes no matter what.
Very challenging greens
Course was overall in very good condition. I consider Wolf Run to be a little too difficult for me as a 20 handicap. While I made many good approach shots I could not seem to stop them close to the pins resulting in many 3+ putts. I am certain low handicappers would love this course.
Fast Greens
This is a great course. Challenging greens but so worth it!!!

Good day at Wolf Run! Fast Greens! Challenging course with streams running through some fairways! Need to trim down the shrubbery in front of the 15th tee box!
Great experience
The course was beautiful, the staff was friendly and the greens were challenging.
Too Many Lay Ups
The course is in good shape with nice greens. However there are many holes where you have to lay up due to the Creek running across the holes. The course is not long (5133 for Silver, 6033 for white), but still requires lay up if you're not confident about your second shot to the green. And many, many Marmots!
Tough track
Rough is too long. And there should be no rough in the middle of fairways! Makes it unnecessary difficult. Greens are in great shape.
Why so wet?
Course layout was great, greens are a challenge and its sometimes target golf and leave the driver in the bag which is fun.
However the watering on the course was like it was going to be 110 but there was actually drizzle in the near future. out of control groundskeeper with the water. Maybe it was too try and drown the pesky marmots.

Course was perfect! Highly recommend! Greens fast and true!
April golf
Overall excellent early April condition. Course looked busy but finished in 4 hours 15 minutes. Greens crazy good

Wolf Run was in great condition. Just challenging enough for us. Greens were smooth but very fast. Staff was friendly and helpful.
