Wekiva Golf Club
About
A solid course design and immaculate course conditions make Wekiva a favored golf destination. Crafted out of a wooded setting, it features many doglegs bordered by large stands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well bunkered with water coming into play on three holes.
A semi-private club that welcomes outside play, this 18-hole, 6,801 yard par 72 course has mature oaks, pines and palms; equitable undulating fairways; strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both the fairway and greens.
Wekiva, only 4 miles from I-4's exit 48, is a golf club in the truest sense.

Great conditions ruined by slow play ahead of us
5 and 6 players in a group in front of you on a Saturday. That will kill a golf course. You need a ranger and you need to educate your members.
Surprisingly Good Conditions
Fairways were in great condition considering the heat. The greens were good as well. Can't wait to go back and play again.
Great conditions
Been playing this course since the 80s and it in the best condition since then.
Great conditions
What a difference the ownership and investments Seminole County has made, especially the new irrigation system, the grounds crew, and the periodic fertilization. This course is really nice now. It rivals the 80s when it was privately owned and meticulously maintained.
This course is great for golf and is has good pricing.
The course is great and is really fun but some of the fairways are a little spongy which affects the iron hits. Overall a great course to play and would play again.
Best value in North Orlando
You will be hard pressed to find a course in the northern Orlando metro area that offers more value than Wekiva. Greens are fast and true. The layout is just right. Pace of play is perfect. Highly recommend.
Average
Course was very soft. Pace of play was terrible. 5+ hours!
Improved conditions
Haven’t played here in a while because of the poor conditions but this is the best shape I have seen it in a long time.
Fun course
Nice course with a fun layout. Greens were in pretty good condition. My only complaint, they shouldn’t allow golfers to walk the course during primetime hours on a Saturday.
Good course
Played here several times, good conditions and value. Would recommend checking if there’s a tournament on the weekend. Otherwise pace is usually ok.
Great greens
Course was amazing and luckily we weren’t slowed down at all! We did see where 8 people were playing together which is insane…but they were well behind us.
Unacceptable Experience and Missing Cash Incident
My friends and I played a round here on Sunday (4/19), and unfortunately the experience was disappointing to say the least. From start to finish.
The course conditions were very firm and overall very mediocre, especially considering the $55 tee time. On the course, one of our carts died on the 9th hole. We called the pro shop for assistance, and it took about 10-15 minutes for someone to arrive (the shorter older gentleman) and only after we called back a second time for an update, at which point we were told they had forgotten about the request.
The most concerning part of the experience happened after the round. After returning our carts and leaving the property, I realized within about 5-7 minutes that I had left my wallet in the cart. We immediately called the pro shop and turned around. In total, the wallet was on the cart and not on my person for roughly 12-15 minutes.
When I returned, the staff in the pro shop had my wallet, and returned it to me. However, I noticed that the cash I had in it (approximately $140-$200) was missing. I was 100% certain the cash had been in my wallet earlier that day and during the round. I asked the staff if they had any information about what might have happened, but they said they were not aware of anything and that the wallet had been brought in from the cart barn.
I then spoke with staff in the cart barn to see if anyone had seen anything, but no one was able to provide any additional information. The interaction became tense, and at one point I felt the response I received was very unprofessional and escalated unnecessarily rather than focusing on resolving the situation. Specifically involving one of the cart barn employees.
Given the circumstances, I contacted the police and filed a report. I was not informed that there may be surveillance cameras in the cart barn area until police arrived to investigate and confirmed that additional cameras were present. However, access to the footage would not be available until management returns.
Overall, this was a horrible and frustrating experience not only because of the missing cash, but also due to the lack of urgency, communication, and professionalism in handling the situation by the staff. Based on this experience, my friends and I will not be returning, and I would advise others to think twice before choosing Wekiva Golf Club.
Anyone want to play golf with me?
