The 18-hole Forest Lake Golf Club in Ocoee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1994. Designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton, Forest Lake Golf Club measures 7221 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 133 and a 74.6 USGA rating. The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
Forest Lake is a natural design devoid of much man-made artifice(if you can discount the highway). This championship, "pure golf" experience has "no houses" - just trees, natural lakes and lush green turf. Always maintained at tournament quality, this Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design is one of Orlando's top daily fee courses. Forest Lake Golf Club has five sets of tees with fair landing areas and approaches. The greens are large and undulating, planted with a unique dwarf grass that enhances the speed and roll of putts. A must play! Forest Lake is easily accessible from the Disney area and International Drive via Florida's Turnpike and 429.
This course has been built in an impressive, stylish manner among the fields and woods of Ocoee.

Fun course
First time at this course and will definitely come back. Overall in good condition. Greens rolled true, fairways and tee boxes in good shape. A lot of fairway bunkers and rolling hills. Even though it’s mostly wide, it’s still a challenging course due to the layout.
Staff was friendly and the course is a fair price for what you get 👍🏻

Great practice facility. Fair and challenging course, greens ran pure. Excellent practice facility. Interesting note: the par 3 16th yardage reads incorrect yardage on the cart gps and and the golf apps. It’s about 50 yards longer than what the card indicates.
Good, fun course
Great course
First time playing golf in US and I wasn’t disappointed John in the pro shop was friendly and helpful $135 for golf & cart and brand new callaway elyte clubs. I played with Marcus Jonathan & Rusty and they made me feel most welcome really enjoyed their company The course was neat & tidy well defined fairways fast & tricky greens. I had a drink with the guys in the clubhouse after our round and really felt at home

FOREST LAKE, A GREAT COURSE
This course is in great shape. Has a very nice layout. Even though the course was very full, the front nine was at a very comfortable pace. But, on the back nine, we, somehow ended up behind a fivesome that played slowly, and the course marshall was aware, but did nothing. We waited every hole, as did the group behind us. That was our only complaint. But a nice day to play golf!
Pretty good for the price - would play again.
This course had good fairways, rough, and tee boxes. The sand taps were poor and the pace of play was quite slow. Decent value for the money.
Very nice course
Never golfed this course before, chose it because the price and it did not disappoint. My brother and I are always trying new courses and we happened upon this one. The conditions were very good from the tees to the greens. We were paired up with a golfer who had golfed the course before and was very helpful as to where to hit certain shots to make the loop much easier. I would definitely be back.
Consistent and Reliable
Forest Lake is consistently in good shape. There are some tee boxes that need help, but other than that, it’s in good shape.
Slow but great track
The course was in great shape. Greens were fairly fast and rolled true and the fairway was lush. It was just incredibly slow, we left after 16 holes and 4:45 minutes of play. It was painful.
Wouldn’t let me golf
I called this course about 30 minutes prior to being there to let them know I was given a flat and simply ask them if my teatime could be moved back 5 to 10 minutes. They specifically told me no there was nothing they could do even though they were completely wide open on bookings And had nothing behind me for over two hours. The only thing the pro shop told me was that I could go ahead and purchase another round would not recommend somewhere that won’t let you golf even if you’re five minutes late.
Great course
Course is in great shape and very reasonably priced. I live near by and play prob 2x a month. Service is good. Greens are in great shape. Tee boxes good as well as fairways. Always have a good time here.

Surprised this course doesnt have more reviews. Loved the layout and course was in great shape.
The golf course is okay. But, parking lot security leaves a lot to be desired. My auto was broken into while I was playing golf. Called the Ocoee police who were not surprised at the break-in. Course management indicated that there have been several instances of vehicle break-ins. At a minimum, course management should patrol the parking lot to avoid future break-ins.

The reason that the 16th green yardage is incorrect is because they had to build a new green and tee area last year after severe flooding destroyed the previous green. After about a year the water has receded and you can now see what is left of the old green in a natural state short of the new green.
