Golf Club At Terra Lago - South Course

Enjoyed the course layout. Challenging and fair. Course conditions are good for this time of year. Green speed was inconsistent throughout however. Recommend playing this course.

Booked online. No problem. Been coming here for years and play one of the 2 courses every time. This year we came a month early in hopes of having both courses available. To my surprise, they changed when they overseeded this year. North course was not available 👎. My plan was to play in the heat of the day, 103 to be exact. No range available, no putting greens available 👎. My clubs were put on the cart, I checked in, all good. I wasn’t on tee-sheet, so starter was confused. He said I could go out now if I wanted. I looked at the box, there was a 4-some waiting to hit. Maybe once they finished I would follow. Once I tee’d off, starter told me there was a tournament in front of me…👎. As I said, coming here for years. Staff has improved immensely. I’ve always enjoyed both courses and I see they are trying to make improvements. But 5 hours in 103 heat, not for me!

Having two courses is a bonus in October because one is always available. While waiting for my home course to reopen, I will always play Terra Lago. It is a well run facility and a joy to play. Being a high handicapper, the challenges are not so great that you can't have a good time.

The course is definitely in summer shape. Fairways are brown greens are so so the worst thing was they did not tell you on the website that you could not drive your car to your ball because the fairways were off limits in 105° weather this made things definitely worse. If I knew fairways were off-limits, I would’ve canceled my teatime.

The South course is open for play. However, what the course fails to disclose is that it is “cart path” (and along the rough for some holes) only for the entire course, as the fairways were reseeded. That along with the weather conditions makes it feel like you’re practically walking the entire course. Which was not my expectation when I made the reservation. The golf carts are also programmed extremely sensitively, whereby the cart stops and forces you to reverse in order to move. Pace of play is great as there’s no one out there. Overall not a great experience.

It was my buddy’s first time playing here. He absolutely enjoyed it. A special shoutout to the course marshal, who was incredibly friendly and helpful! I’ve played at quite a few different courses, and unfortunately, my experiences with course marshals haven’t always been the most positive. It was refreshing to have someone who was so welcoming, approachable, and genuinely willing to help. They really made the experience more enjoyable and deserve recognition for their excellent customer service. I unfortunately did not get their name. Overall great time here!

Love this place since I started going there in 2020. My top 5 places to go for bank for your buck in the palm springs area, will be back again

Don’t go and play this course - spend the money in a Casino or beer - i had 3 bachelor flights in front of me, which let me thru after 5 holes - however there is no GPS, no display. Basically you make hit an hope shots which end nowhere.

Cart get stop and you have to reverse all by a sudden.

This course looks on pictures nicer. You play in a waste area.

No cart service - first water station was 12th hole.

Seriously pay 20 Dollars more and you get a real course

The day was hot, the cart crew was inefficient, and the ice dispensers weren't working.

The course was in fair shape. There were bare spots throughout. The driving range is pretty far from the clubhouse, and the number of balls was generous. The cart crew was young and somewhat inattentive - except for when they stood there for a tip.

I might play again, when it is cooler - no shade, and the course design makes it a long day, without real shade.
