The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Still a go-to place. Friendly staff and overall a chill atmosphere.
Course maintained pristine / fast greens.

Missing cart people for snacks and drinks. Played in 4:20 on a Sunday. Course in great shape

Best greens and bunkers I have played all summer in the desert. Would recommend to everyone. Great deal!

The course was in great shape for summer even after aerification. The man behind the counter was super welcoming and friendly. Much better than the older assistant pro who was always cold.

Fist time playing this course . Definitely worth it . Greens - Fairways - Tee boxes all in very good condition in spite of the palm desert heat .
Conditions not as good as usual
Greens were very slow. Fairways were only ok. Bunkers could use more sand. I like the course, but the conditions were not nearly as good as the previous times I have played it in the summer.
Going semi-private, no gate access, good course though
Going semi-private, no gate access, good course though. The course is in a private development with no public access so I had to wait til someone left to hurry thru the front gate. Noone answered the phone after 5 tries going straight to voicemail. Checked in hour early, chipped, putted, range opened, noone on the whole course and had to wait for actual tee time. Great conditions from tee to green. I believe they punched about two & half weeks before I played and they were fine. Overall pretty generous room off the tee leading into more targeted approach shots and protected greens. Really tough back nine finish. Awesome views, good variety of hole designs. Highly recommend.
Total golf
Everything is always great here. Tee times and course layout. Great pricing. Friendly people. So glad they opened it back up during the week to the public. At least for the summer, which is when I play.
Summer Heritage Golf
Had a good round of golf, met 3 new friends. 2 are 2 where Heritage Palms employees…I will always come back, as I had lived and worked in the Coachella Valley for over 40 years. To visit my kids and to Golf…Love it…🏌️☝🏽🙏🏽🇺🇸
Public play
Very happy that they have unfettered public play again. It was restricted to sunday. Always enjoy it. Great value. .
