About
The mountains are close enough to touch at this Arthur Hills design. Heritage Palms measures 6,698 yards from the back tees.
Four lakes are featured on the course, which is very green for a desert design. Hills contrast the fairways against the mountains and the desert in the distance, but this is very much a resort type course.
The par 3s are particularly inventive. This isn't one of Hills' tougher courses. It offers average hackers the chance to have a largely anxiety-free round. As long as they don't get too carried away with club selection.
There are a number of dogleg holes that force you to think before firing away. Just hitting as far as you can is an easy path to trouble. It's the shot after the shot you're hitting that must be thought of.

Golfer Reviews
Great place to play
Course staff was great and the on course assistance was great. Getting fresh cold water was very helpful.
Great Round though greens punched mid August
Better everything since prior visits. Nice value. Greens aerated mid August so putting was an adventure! That will resolve itself. Friendly attentive staff - especially for an afternoon in the summer.
My Favorite Course
This course is always in great shape even in the dead of summer. One of my favorite courses in the Coachella Valley!
Heritage Palms Excellence
I booked my round through golf now and when I got there it was different than what I was told there in terms of cost. The person checking me in honored the golf pass price I showed him and I told him he did not have to. Excellent customer service. Will play there every Thursday for the next 3 weeks. Their customer service folks are top notch.
Nice Condition for Summer Season
Course was in decent shape. Enjoyed the greens. Nice course but not super challenging. The Par 4 18th was my favourite plus enjoyed the long Par 5 7th on the front. NO GPS on the carts and was given any sand to replace divots. Lounge/bar was closed for renos. Overall for the money it was decent.
Nice course
Have played this course before and will continue to come back. Course in great shape for this time of year.
Best value in the desert
Fun course, greens, fairways and bunkers in perfect shape.
