Knollwood Golf Course

Course is a classic layout and old school... But there is a crab grass epidemic in the rough, tee boxes are really shaggy, and greens are hit and miss...and the carts are filthy and had remnants of earlier players....beer cans, wrappers....but if you can find a cheap Hot Deal, its worth it ...dont pay over 40 for this....Encino Balboa and Woodley are 10 minutes down the road, are in way better shape, and 40ish weekday with cart...but knollwood as a layout is better than those city munis...

I wish I owned knollwood golf course. It could be a top golf course, but the pace of play out there always keeps me from going back. The course attracts beginners that don't know golf etiquette. And also, people who play really slow the tea times are way too close together. There is no Marshall, there's no starter. It's a free fur, all out, the course. The only time to go there is. If you have the first tea time of the day.

They have replaced the towels and kept the water full in the devices.

Carts seem to always die out on the course which makes pace of play difficult beyond belief, the course has a decent layout fairways are in good condition but the greens are not good, people that play here don’t seem to respect the the common sense rule of fixing divots and repairing others as well. The Greens are horrible.

The course itself is great. But the pace of play will make you want to shoot yourself. It’s a disgrace.

starter does not group players foursome that's why it takes forever to play. I met twosome and single playing

It seems as though they aren’t even making an effort to provide decent tee areas. Mowing the weeds on the tee boxes would be a good start. Because it appears that weeds are the only thing growing on them. The remainder of the course, fairways, rough, greens are decent. Typical of LA-area munis, some bunkers have ample sand and some very little.

Fast and rolling felt real good getting to the greens on two but,what really ruins the time of your life it'd not that I can't put it is freaking impossible to walk away with your head it

hot weather but nice breeze. The pace of play was excellent. Recommend this course

Fun day but the tee boxes were horrible it was like tee up in the rough like of the grounds keepers went on strike at least 15 of 18 were bad same as the second cut looked like they haven't cut the grass in months l could go on and on

The restaurant wasn’t open because an employee didn’t show up. The bunkers were all mud or partially flooded. Tee boxes way overgrown.the cherry on top. The pace of play is so bad.

Ball cleaning is not kept up to date. Most of them are inot working or don’t have towels or shoe brushes are brken.
