Best Golf Experience in the West Valley
I’ve been playing at Palm Valley Golf Club almost weekly for the past two years, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Jeff, Trevor, and the entire team consistently go above and beyond to make every visit enjoyable and welcoming. The course is always in immaculate condition, which makes it one of the best overall golf experiences in the area. Between the outstanding staff, great atmosphere, and fair pricing, Palm Valley is a course I’ll keep coming back to.

I joined another single late afternoon. The course overall was empty (Cinco de Mayo). At hole # 3 we got stuck behind two 4-somes. Certainly not the course’s fault. Turns out my partner and I had a common employer in the past, so we yapped it up the whole time.
The greens hadn’t been mowed in a few days it appeared to which I could not adjust. All good though. I drove the ball well and hit a few great shots. Nice outing overall.
Thank you for spending Cinco de Mayo with us at Palm Valley Golf Club. Sounds like despite getting caught behind a couple of groups early, you still made the most of the round — and reconnecting over a shared work history always makes for a fun afternoon on the course.
We appreciate the feedback on the greens as well. This time of year in Arizona, our courses are transitioning from winter rye to summer Bermuda, which can occasionally impact speed and consistency as we work through the process. Our agronomy team is working hard each day to continue improving conditions heading into summer.

Take your money elsewhere
I have played Palm Valley many times. Today’s conditions do not warrant $109+. I understand the industry is encountering inflation but this is a ripoff price. Greens are sloowww and poorly maintained in areas causing inconsistent reads. I’m a scratch golfer and lost strokes due to the inconsistent cuts and conditions on greens. Some of the tee boxes need help. It’s a shame, as I played collegiate events here when it is in mint condition. However, for peak Arizona golf season, it’s truly a shame how poorly kept it is now. Take your $100 elsewhere.

Good course to play
Love Palm Valley but West Course is not in the great shape. North and South are the two you always want to play. Staff is great though. Pace can be challenging at times and yesterday was bad so late in the day. Enjoy your round

Worst course I have played in AZ
Absolutely no shade around the T boxes for carts. Not one ball washer on the course. No regulation by a Marshall and no cart path signs anywhere on the fairways

Playing in the Arizona heat, especially without adequate shade or on-course amenities, can certainly impact enjoyment, and your comments regarding the lack of ball washers, signage, and marshal presence are all noted. We are actively reviewing these areas with our team—specifically improving on-course signage, evaluating amenity placement, and reinforcing our Player Assistant presence to better manage pace and support our guests throughout their round.

Great round
This is one of the few times at any course I've seen a marshall actually push a slow foresome who got quite snotty with him apparently.
If a course will send marshalls out to actually manage pace of play it makes that course top notch to me.

Great Track
Played 18 on this course in over 100° weather. Course was in great shape, staff was very accommodating and friendly, and it is a very enjoyable place to play. Not too difficult, unlike other courses I have played this course is not in the desert it is in the middle of a city. So you don’t lose a lot of balls to the desert! Would play again, very great location.
