Highlands at Dove Mountain

So far, the best course I’ve played since being in Tucson! Course was well manicured and plush. Greens were rolling faster than the last four courses I’ve played and truer. What can I say about the staff?!!! They were so accommodating and NICE!!!! Originally, I was paired with a threesome, but as you can see, I had my beautiful wife with me and having three carts on the fairways is a big no-no! So, instead of making it a thing, the starter allowed my wife and I to get out ahead of our teetime and we were able to get some great pictures and videos that captured our exceptional experience.

Well manicured fairways and greens. Friendly staff and views that take your breath away. I highly recommend this course. You will not be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite Tucson courses. It is always busy but I know why. The course is fun, it is always in great shape and the staff is friendly.

What a course! Get out there why the hot deals are still hot! Course is in PERFECT shape

It was my first time playing the Highlands. I heard it was a really good course, and we were not disappointed. The course is challenging but fair (look out for hole 13!) and was in really nice shape.They have multiple tee boxes, plus several combo options. One caveat: the greens were punched a couple weeks ago, so they ran pretty slow (thus the 4 star on conditions); I imagine in normal conditions, they're a lot faster and definitely tricky. We played on a hot afternoon, so pretty much had the course to ourselves. Nice carts (they should have GPS) and a good halfway snack bar -- a beverage cart would have been nice. The staff was really greata. Overall a really enjoyable course.

Turf changing over to summer bermuda, greens in a bumpy transition. Love this course and staff is phenomenal. First time we enjoyed the bar/grill, great staff and yummy appetizers to finish our round.

course in good condition for such hot weather. fairways a little thin but no problems. grass beyond fairways and around greens actually in very good condition. was able to hit lob wedge with grass under the ball (rather than tight lie) over a bunker. greens need a few more days to recover from aeration but putting was ok.

Great course and facility overall. My only complaint is there was a group behind us playing from the forward/front tees who were on top of us through out the round. They should have at least been playing from the white or middle tees. It definitely but a damper on the enjoyment of the round. We still played in 4 hours! It’s not “speed” golf. I like proper pace of play but it was a little ridiculous where the guys hit from.

So I booked this with a couple buddies thinking I was booking a different course in the same area. I've played the course I originally thought I was booking. So when we showed up, I was like hold up wait a minute, this isn't the course. Walked into the huuuuuuuuge restaurant/bar (which looks modern and new). Ok ok off to a good start. Walked into the pro shop to check in. Nicest staff I've ever encountered at a golf course. Attentive, understood customers, and just genuinely cared. Checked in went to the range met with the starter who sat and watched us warm up. Came up to the first tee and he had all of our swings good and bad memorized. Used that info and gave us great tips on the course. He needs a raise tipped. Course was amazing not just for summer but just amazing. Weather didn't reach over 90°. Literally the perfect summer day to mess up and it work out better then anticipated. Top to bottom top tier service. This place needs more praise
