Golfer Reviews
Best Greens In The Valley!!
17 of the 18 greens are the best in the valley. Lush, green, soft and well cared for. Tee boxes are filling in nicely but fairways on some of the holes are just weeds. Course is in much better shape than 6 months ago and trees are being planted. A good place to sharpen your short game and/or take a new golfer. Buy a pizza at Zeke's on Warner near 48th st and have fun on the course!
Course Is Getting Better Evrey Week
The greens are the best in the valley!. Tee boxes nave been redone and are very nice. Sand traps have been redone with what looks to be fine beach sand. Fairways still have some bare spots but over-seeding will take care of that in a few weeks. More trees have been planted but they are still small. Course is moving in the right direction. New clubhouse construction to start soon. Until then buy a pizza at Zekes Pizza nearby and bring it to the course. Can't beat the $14 greens fee. Have fun!
Beautiful greens, work in progress
The fairways are obviously a work in progress, aeration going on. However the greens were beautiful. Can’t wait to play again after summer. I hope that additional work will be done on all the fringe areas off the fairways to make this a really great ececutive course. I wonder what the plan is for the “clubhouse” and parking lot.
Enjoy a relaxing round of golf
Ahwatukee Lakes Golf Course is a great place to enjoy a relaxing round of golf. The course is well-maintained, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the layout is enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. The pace of play was smooth, and the scenic mountain views added to the experience. A fantastic value and a fun course to play. I’ll definitely be back! ⛳️🏌️♂️

Lots of ground work. Dirt. Looks like overseeding.
Great Course for Hole in One !!
They’re doing a great job with that course bringing it back. It’s always fun and challenging. Staff is super friendly, out with my grandkids good teaching course got the whole seven my grandson says you hit the stick and I think it fell in the hole drove up there with my chipper thinking maybe it rolled over we walked over and there it was sitting in the cup hole in one was playing the whites 141 out will always love this course for that and they gave me a free hat.
Thank you The Lakes Ahwatukee

Great Value
Very short but demands distance control and accuracy. Greens are in great shape. Fairways are reasonable. Rough is rough.
Can be played quickly. Great day of practice and exercise. Bring your own water, there is nothing on the course.
Good value - course conditions may be impacted by summer heat
I played here about 2 months ago. Conditions seemed to have gotten worse since then. May be due to summer temps. Overall a decent short course for a quick round of golf. Not the prettiest coarse by any means and grass is a bit rough now.
Course Getting Better But Needs H2O On The Fairways
Best Greens In The Valley: Lush and roll true. Fairway needs some water but are playable. Small trees have been planted but many more are needed. There 6 par 4 holes and they are challenging enough to make the round interesting. The 6 water holes that demand attention and are laid out very well. Good value for the money
Not great
After being closed for several years, this course reopened but just barely. There is a trailer for Pro Shop which sells soda and beer but apparently no other snacks. There are no real bathrooms but just portable toilets.
The fairways are bare and shaggy and the greens putt at about a one on the stimp meter. Unless you're a beginner and don't know any better, I would say don't play this course.
