Dobson Ranch Golf Course

It was a great day on the course! I would like them to do something about their driving range. As fairways on either side of the driving range was littered with balls and it was hard to find our ball. Either raised the fence or use off colored balls for the driving range. Also there was several non-range balls in the mix which made it very hard to sort out which ball was ours. I assume that they are balls that got picked up off of the driving range that golfers had errant hit into the driving range. And never got sorted out.

Marshall seemed to be around on front nine but noticeably absent in a verrrrry slow back nine

I was a busy afternoon, pace was slow but the staff let us know as we checked in.

Course was dry, greens were in good shape.

We have an enjoyable time.

I play this course regularly. The greens and fairways are in good shape They lost some big trees over the last few years, but they have planted many more. It's now under good management with some good ideas. Always fun to walk this course.

Good course with good people. Must do something with the driving range/ 9 /10 holes and ball traffic. Someone is gonna get beaned. Otherwise great

Called and asked me to move my tee time up 45 minutes. Show up and was told the tee times are running 20 minutes behind. Did not tee off until an hour after tee time was scheduled. Bearly able to competet the round was at the course almost 7 hours. Stop over selling tee times.

Some of the t boxes were like cement, couldn’t get a t very far into the ground

We were in town for a wedding and we wanted to play a great course. REally enjoyed this course. Pace of play was quick. We finished our round in 4 hours. Course was in great shape. One negative was the sand in the bunkers. It is a dark brown sand and tough to hit a consistent shot from the bunkers. Staff was very friendly and a reasonable price for club rentals.

Dobson Ranch was a joy to play and the staff is stellar.

The course was ok. I would not play it again. Fairways very close together. Number ten is awful being right by the driving range - you better use a colored ball. Even if you hit it in the fairway you may not find it if you use white. Many, many of balls from the driving range in the fairway. Almost got hit twice. Greens are very pitted so you do not get a smooth, accurate roll.

Not a desert course so errant shots can usually be recovered. Conditions were good with greens being on the slowish side.

conditions were not so good. The course is very dry and tends to be less green than hoped for. The greens were also pretty well beat up. If you like Arizona golf ball roll, this course is at the top of the list. Play was slow due to the 2 guys we were paired up with. They played from the tips, but were senior-tees golfers. And, they took multiple practice swings on every shot and before we knew it we were ad,omished by a ranger to speed things up.

The course is a good value with upgraded off course amenities……. But at the end of the day, the greens at this course are really bumpy and REALLY slow. The overseeded fairways are great, the rough is dead Bermuda. Maybe they should spend more time and resources on the course and not food and beverage and driving range
