Dobson Ranch Golf Course

I had a great day at Dobson yesterday. The staff was amazing including the gentleman that played in our group, who is also an employee. Rest of the group was awesome as well. The condition of the course was great and the one and only issue that we had was the group ahead of us playing like sloths which in return kept us from finishing our round. Thinking about buying a players card.

Can’t believe I lived within a mile of the course and never played it. Course is not n great shape. Mark was amazing. He explained the benefits of being part of the club. Everyone here made this such a great experience. You need to check out this course!

I had a great experience at the range thanks to Mark. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient the entire time. He made sure I felt comfortable, answered all my questions, and gave great advice that really improved my experience. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping customers and creating a safe, welcoming environment. Highly recommend asking for Mark if you visit the range!

Had a great day. I brought my girlfriend out for her first time and we were paired up with another couple, both new to golf. We all had a great day and I actually shot my best round 69! Great friendly staff and amazing atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Early in the season, like now, it would benefit new grass if they could rope off high use areas on a staggered basis to give the grass a Chance !!! Some water would help too … it’s about to get real hot real fast !!!

Arrived early and teed off on time. Huge areas to warm up putting and chipping and full service driving range.

Carts with GPS , ice in your cooler with clean water and restrooms on course. Cart girl was seen several

Times and very pleasant. Found the sand traps more playable on this day, seemed they had recently made the error to fill the bunkers for better play!

Greens were fun and I found the speed difficult to gauge despite all being constant, especially on the several long putts I experienced 60’-70’+. Had 5 -3 putts shooting 84, 37 putts total, ouch!

I’m glad I returned to play my 3rd round before heading back to Nebraska. Dobson Ranch is super fun and forgiving to play and the atmosphere they present is welcoming and efficient. The next time I play my plan is to have lunch or dinner to try the food options that look inviting.

The staff: from the pro shop to the guys by the carts to the starter - ALL STELLAR! Oh! don't forget the staff in the restaurant, top shelf. Service is great and so is the food.

The driving range is great too!

For being only April, the course was in bad shape. Lots of bald spots, dead grass or weeds on the fairways. Bunkers were not filled with sand but rather some kind of coarse material. What shape will this course be in the middle of the Summer? I hate to find out

The holes are so mixed together that you have to constantly be alert for balls from other holes. The tee boxes and greens were in poor shape. The rough felt like weeds. A single paired with us said he’d never seen it in such bad shape.

The staff were great and other amenities looked fantastic. The driving range and hanging out areas seemed to get more attention than the actual course.

First time playing Dobson Ranch since 2024 and I’m a little ashamed because this course is a lot of fun! Conditions were good, greens rolled at a good pace, tee boxes in good shape minus some par 3’s but that is what it is. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is incredible! The amenities, the friendly staff, the prices, the vibe literally everything! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back . The staff could not be any nicer or more accommodating. Special shout out to Andrew and Gunner. You guys are awesome!

One of my go to courses. Good layout. Easy to walk.

The staff is super nice always, tons of options in the pro shop for gear, the food at the restaurant is awesome, beverage cart floats around frequently, as far as the course goes they are doing everything they can to keep it in the best shape possible for Arizona golf. The starter is always on point big greens with good sloping make for some challenging pars. Some short par 5s and good luck not being blocked by a tree on 16. Get the ranch pass and find some morning tee times for less than $50.

The course is really dry. Lots of close lies. Ball runs forever due to the dead grass.
