Dobson Ranch Golf Course

Course is fun. They are always super friendly and amazing with the kids.

Course was in okay shape, greens were still healing after being punched. Fairways were okay, some bare spots. Pace of play was outstanding.

A nice balance of long and short, dog-legs and long par 5’s.

The off course amenities are the best I’ve seen at a public municipal course. If they spent as much time on the fairways bunkers and grains, this could conceivably be the best municipal course in the country. Layout is phenomenal. It just needs a little work in the fairways.

Course leaves much to be desired, greens were horrible because they were punched 2 weeks prior. A lot of the tee boxes lacked grass in spots. Bunkers felt like desert not sand. Was disappointed even though it was only $19 + tax.

Hope the conditions get better works being done just have to wait it out.

Never disappointed here and for the money its one of the best deals in the area hands down

Greens still bumpy and sandy from air rationing. Otherwise all good.

Tee time came with an "aerification warning" so I anticipated playing punched greens which I'm fine with. What I didn't find out until I got there was that the greens would be absolutely covered in sand, and also only 9 holes on the course were open. Felt pretty scummy to not communicate this, definitely won't be playing there again this summer.

I've played this course for over 20 years. Avoid at all costs for now. Greens punched and sanded, fairways... No grass. There are so many GUR areas even close to greens that aren't tagged. Wait a couple weeks at least. Hopefully scarring heals. Worst shape I've ever seen the course in. Pure yikes...

I have been golfing for some time, mostly when living in Switzerland 🇨🇭. My wife and I recently moved to Chandler and a friend recommended the Dobson Ranch only 7 min from my home. The driving range is top notch and the staff could not be friendlier. The course is in great shape knowing we are coming into the warmer season.

I have been playing it this course for many years. Course was in good shape I love the layout. It was very slow play yesterday. Made the turn going from 9:00 to 10:00 and there was a group on the t-box and to force waiting. I don't know how it gets that bottleneck going from 9:00 to 10:00 but somebody needs to get the pace even out a little bit

Alwys enjoy palying Dobson and today started out no different. Breezed through the front 9 at a great pace. However, by hole 12 on the back, there was two groups in front of us on the tee and we pretty much waited on every shot on the way in. Turned into a 5 hour round :(

Staff at Dobson is always fantastic!!!

Love this place, play here incredibly consistently always fun always good value. It is a very popular course so pace of play isn’t the best, but 100% expected when I show up. I will continue to return often.
