Lookout Mountain Golf Club

Course was in decent condition for August in Arizona. Fairways were patchy with some rough dry patches in the fairways and greens weren’t super consistent. Great layout and challenging course.

Second time playing this course. The course was in very good condition. Even without much rain the fairways and green were very playable.

Everything was decent. Nothing too spectacular, but a solid desert course if you can get a rate under $100

Not many people out there, understandably.

My starter, Ira, was such a nice guy. Staff were obviously worried about heat safety and the marshall came around to check on me and maybe the only 2-3 groups out that day. I would play here again in cooler weather! Layout was such a gem. Loved it!

The course was in decent shape given the heat some bare patches but to be expected this time of year.

Most courses in the Phoenix area have a tough time during June-July because the bermuda grass is coming up, but it fights with the winter grass that is dying. Lookout Mountain had its share of bad spots but the greens ran pretty true and there were good lies in the fairways. One of the tee boxes on the back nine was closed and they moved everyone up to the front tees which threw me off on the tee shot. Overall their are a good variety of holes and the spectacular view on the tee box on 10 makes me come back 1-2 times a year.

Enjoyed this solid track. lotta guys working on the course even in the middle of the day car lady came around a few times as well so there’s amenities if you’re interested would’ve been nice to have somebody moving some of the slower guys out there (probably not the right course for senior seniors as it’s a little bit of a Billygoat course in places and can be lengthy at times and lost balls lol

Overall, good value during the summer and pace a play was excellent. Got done in three hours.!

I was pleasantly surprised by the course. Fairly wide fairways. Greens In good condition. Not a walkable course due to a vast distance between holes. Will play again !

Played the course in just over 3 hours. Course was i. Good shap and was fun to play.

All good things about this course, very pretty scenery and the fairways were very green. Some holes you need to be pretty accurate on your tee shot and if not you will lose some balls but I had a great time!

Great staff and great layout but if I knew the greens were in the shape they were we would have not played there
