Palo Verde Golf Course

i haven't golfed at this course in a decade. I decided to try it out for a quick nine holes in the later morning. I was not expecting anything grand with the course but I have multiple gripes about this experience:

The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude. and wasn't listening to anything i told her or asked her. I had reserved my tee time on golf now . i arrived 15 min early. I checked in and told her i had a reservation for one with a cart and gave her my name. she then charged me for a person to ride along. I understand this happens at some courses, but I have never experienced this at a City pf Phx golf course. i paid though without complaint. Then she didn't give me a cart key because she said she was putting me with someone else starting 20 min later. She reluctantly gave me a cart key and when I walked outside someone who was starting well after me had taken the cart and was going to the range. so i had to go back in and she said to wait for some people to come in off the ninth hole. No Way! there were a bunch of people waiting to tee off at a later tee time and the tee was currently empty and i did not want to get stacked up behind them. I was able to talk to another gentleman there and get a cart from someone schedule to start later. I would have been happy paying 25 for this course. I would have been ok paying the $36 that i had expected. But i ended up paying nearly $50.00 for this disorganized crap and marginal course.

This little 9 hole was a fun run, greens are immaculate, rest of the course has normal wear and tear but for a quick outing it was superb.

Very easy to schedule online, no waiting once we got there, running on time, employees very friendly & accommodating. We love this 9 hole course!

Greens were in great shape. Fairwaays, however, a little rough in spots.

By far, one of the worst courses I’ve ever played on.

This 9 holes course was fun and quick play.

The fact of sprinklers were on while play wasn’t the best,some areas were very dry, but overall a good bet for the money, it’s a no stress quick play course. Great for a quick morning 9 hole

I Love Palo verde, it’s a great course to hit early morning in the summer before work. The regulars are all friendly (a little older crowd) but no one minds you playing through as long as you are polite and respectful. Only 3 par 4s but they are for sure drivable par 4s. It’s a good course for beginners and it’s usually very well kept.
