Legend Trail Golf Club

Had a great round, beautiful course, had to target the best shots and placement. Grass was perfect, greens a little hard to read, but course was in great shape. Will be back again-

The course look like they are getting ready for overseeding soon. The fairways are cut low and are mostly brown dry grass. The greens were stripe cut which made putting a little bumpy. The course has a lot of character so it is still fun and difficult. Make sure you pick the right tees for your game. Someone earlier in the day did not and caused a huge backup for everyone behind them. We booked 2 hours after this group on a fairly open day and still hit the log jam by hole 6. It was a slog through the rest of the course waiting on each shot. The ranger was seen driving around multiple times, but did not do anything to keep pace moving. Sad. I understand the the course does not want to make people mad, but that one group ruined the day for SEVERAL groups behind them. Which is better? Upset the group causing the problem or multiple groups that have to wait on them. The math is pretty easy. The staff was excellent otherwise. The cart guys, pro shop and starter were all excellent. I booked through golfnow and had no issues with anyone. The range was mats again. BOOOOO!!!! I hate the mats.

Unfortunately I will be stopping my play here.

Really enjoyed this course. Most tee shots are desert landscape carries, but doable. Course conditions great, electric carts so no jerky start up, great staff all aspects of concourse conditions were great. Clubhouse a bit pricey, and no beverage cart on weekdays. Layout incredible with some surprises on a few holes. Good amount of sand and water. Lovely homes line this links course. Highly recommend.

Good smooth greens. Fast pace of play. Nice fairways with only minor hot spots. Play it before overseed!

What an absolutely wonderful course. The course conditions were pristine, the greens rolled pure and the views were spectacular. Got done in a little over 3 hours which is great. Everyone was super kind and helpful and they have a bunch of space to practice and warm up before your round!

I keep revisiting Legend Trail for the layout and the beauty of the desert.

In the past, if we were early and ready to go, we were allowed to tee off. This time, even though the course was wide open in front of us, we were not allowed to go 15-20 minutes early unless we paid the difference in green fees ($40 each). If the course was busy, I would understand but it was pretty empty. We never saw anyone in front of us for the whole round.

Always a great day when I am at Legend Trail. Good conditions and a great layout.

Hottest day of the year. The Pro Shop was able to accommodate our request to move up our tee time by 20 minutes. Pace of play was fast. The tee boxes and fairways were great, but the greens were fantastic!! Look forward to playing there again!

Course was in great shape. Traps and greens were immaculate. Nice track and uncrowded. Affordable this time of year.

I was very hesitant to golf here because of the brutal reviews. So glad I did! The pro shop was very nice, along with the starters. The course was in great shape except for a few spots, and seems to have healed from whatever was going on a couple of weeks ago. Good drink specials, hot dogs. Beautiful scenery. Up in way North Scottsdale, so 5 degrees cooler. $60 dollar afternoon tee time that includes range balls. The 7 pm cart curfew is a bit disappointing, but otherwise, it was a wonderful day! We even saw a bobcat!

Played here in June, the prices were very high for Phoenix summer golf. I was expecting tip top conditions, at what they are charging, but boy were we in for a shock! Fairways were 40% burnt out, not in good shape at all. Greens healthy but extremely bumpy. I like the layout a lot, especially the back 9, but it is such a bad value right now. I would be a little more forgiving, but the golf staff is so snooty, like they are doing you a favor for letting you play. (The club cleaners are super nice though.). Just not a good experience. They should be charging $25 or $30 w/ the course in this condition, not $55. No wonder it is deserted...
