Meadowlark Golf Course

In the flights ahead of us as well as in our flight there where players who can not play golf.

It took as 2 hours to start to play hole 7, par 3.

so we left and paid sunday greenfee for 6 holes!!

We would never choose this course again

Had a great time today, first I would like to give a shout out to the guy behind the counter, very helpful and in a good mood, second we teed off right on time, only got backed up a couple times, the course was in good condition, greens were true, I’ve golfed here 3 times in the last week, and I wouldn’t come back like that if it was a bad experience, one thing I would like to say, the Ambassadors, it would be nice if you could drive around and when you see it’s getting backed up, say something, the first time I played last week, we got backed up 15 minutes at each hole after # 7, the people in front of us were more interested in talking about houses than golfing, I think it’s okay for the Ambassadors to let people know to play with the pace, the 3 some in front of them was playing the blue tees and they should have been on the white tee box, I understand everyone wants to play blue, but the Ambassadors should spot it and tell them to pick up, or play whites or gold, it’s ok guys, you will have more fun anyway, but that day was a really long day of golf, but all in all the weather has been great and if you start late you should plan on a 5 plus hour day, but I enjoy being out there, so give them a shot and enjoy yourself, course is good and the people are great

I had a good time, staff was great, the course is in good shape, my only complaint is the pace of play, I saw a couple marshals on the course, but they seemed to be more interested in picking up range balls rather than keeping up the pace, but overall it was a good day, I guess you need to plan for a 5 hour or better round, if you have the time, then go give it a try, I just didn’t like getting iced down at every tee box for 10 minutes, but great people and course, but if you need to be somewhere else in 4 hours, just pass, it won’t happen, I live here and play here and it’s been that way forever, plan 5 hours or more so you don’t get upset

Short course with small greens that will challenge your accuracy. Pace is good if you go off in the early morning. Greens are in decent shape.

The layout of course is good. We understand it had rained 5 days prior to playing but the course had no drainage and standing water on every shot (other than greens which were good). Playing partners lost balls in the middle of fairways. The pro shop gave no warning of conditions other than stating cart path only. Very disappointing for playing the course first time.

This course has quite a few short par 4’s so it will surely make you want to go for it!

Wide fairways for the most part. Greens are fast For some unknown reason, even after the crazy hot days, there are a lot of soft marshy spots all over the place. Too much water? Terrible drainage? The marsh mixed with crazy dry patches make it insanely inconsistent. Staff is really nice so that helps. Also, to the two guys playing behind us (11:43 time) you are idiots for yelling at us to hurry. Less than two hours in, we were on hole 11 so sorry you jerks play at record pace… but I did see you hit and you guys were not Rory. Cheers

Got a great price with a daily deal for two. SoCal heat wave was in place so opted to play this course several miles from ocean. Weather was perfect on course. Like most all older public courses in SoCal, the fairway grass can be thin, but the green bunkers and fringe around greens was pretty good. A very nice round with minimal delays.
