Destroyer at Seal Beach Navy Golf Course

Tried to give this course another shot, but this will be the last time playing there. After 2pm, there is no starter, no Marshall…absolutely no one to enforce pace of play. Tried calling the pro shop and you get the busy signal. I find it ridiculous that you can’t finish 18 holes in over 5 hours! Pace is absolutely brutal.

, somebody at the course had canceled my tee time without asking or anything like that they just canceled the time so I had to wait an extra hour for and got lucky to have another tee time and hour later was able to play the round but since I played a round, golf now decided to not refund me anything even though they took my booking fee so I paid a booking fee and the normal course price I lost about 30 bucks in this transaction and golf now is saying since you played golf we're not going to refund you. That's some b*******

Very nice course for the money you pay in that area; beautiful layout, good condition, near perfect greens

everything was great, exempt we have to wait about 5 minutes each hole cause one in a front was slow. than another 4 some past us went front of the peoples ahead of us, make it even slower. don't know why front people wasn't complained. since than, have to wait much longer. it took 5 and half hours to finish game.

I absolutely love this course however, on this particular day pace of play was miserable. Our round and we were only a twosome, took five hours and 25 minutes.

We started the destroyer course at 4:30 P.M. We were asked to leave the course at 7:30 when there were still plenty of light out. We only got to hold 13. I wish they would have told us when we paid this information. I probably would not have played if I knew this. The staff should mention that to people who are scheduling a late round.

Great deal, great condition, pace of play a little slow and barely finished, but always a fun course to play.
