Skylinks Golf Course

My favorite course in Long Beach. It is well kept you can get decent priced tee time if you find a hot deal or have the players club. Expect a 5 hour round though as pace of play can be slow with buildup on all of the par 3 holes.

I booked on golfnow but double checked the lb golf website and saw that they punched the greens a few days prior so at least my expectations were set. I wish golfnow would have this status though. Course is always in good shape and we had a few sprinkle shower that slowed down the fairways and greens a little. Greens were punched with 1" holes on 10/7 so be prepared for that and hust hot your putts harder limit the ping pinging around on the greens. Everything else was in good shape- tees, fairways, rough, and bunkers. Teed off at 220 and only had 18 in the dark. Pace was 4:30. Starter let me tee off 30 minutes ahead of my 2:50 tee time.

Had a great time at Skylinks, teed off right on time, course was in great shape, pace of play was good, the greens were in good shape, all and all we had a great day, if you get a chance to play Skylinks, give it a shot, hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do

The only thing that was wrong was the 95 degree heat, other than that we had a great time and it all started with the friendly check in hit some balls, teed off on time, the course was in great condition, greens were true, fairways were good and pace of play was great, no complaints here, just could have been a little bit cooler, the heat wave was on, but the ball was really flying further, so what a great day, thanks to everyone at Skylinks, if you get a chance to play this course, do it, you won’t be disappointed

The course was very well maintained. Lush fairways, good bunkers, good tee boxes, good greens. There were a few dry spots off the fairways, but overall great conditions.

Had another great day at Skylinks, course was in great shape, especially the greens, no complaints here except for the foursome in front of us where acting like they were playing in a cash game, they were a hole and a half behind, We had to wait at every tee box and we had to wait for the green to clear on every hole, the thing about it is they were no good, we had one player in our foursome quit and 3 players behind us quit at the turn, this is the worst problem at Skylinks, they never have a marshal out moving the groups along, other than that, if you get a chance to play at Skylinks, give it a chance, great people, great course, and hopefully you don’t get behind a group that has any educate, you will have a great time and love the course

The starter was the most friendly person I’ve ever seen. The course was kept up the fairways were in good condition and also the greens were good The coffee shop was excellent so was service .
