Great value course
I choose to play here on the spur of the moment and there was a great hot deal tee time for only $16. I only played 9 holes and it took a little less than 2 hours which wasn't horrible for a Sunday at 2:30. We were waiting on every tee box but there wasn't anywhere to go with a lot of beginner players. Course was in pretty good shape. The tee were mostly good and the grewns rolled pretty well. All in all I enjoyed playing there and the starter got me out about 30 minutes early.
Overall good experience
Hadn’t played the course in over 15 years. Overall good experience, many mud patches throughout the course. Would benefit from marshals to ensure no walking carts on greens and divots are repaired.
Great course to practice your short game
Get your short game right! Only thing i had problem was at hole 7 we got backed up we had to wait for 3 different groups to play and that was for the rest of the course
Rude Starter
We had a 10:20 tee time. We had no idea there was a Junior Tournament. I wish they could post this kind of information early for us to know. Greens were slow and bumpy as expected since they were recently aerated. My biggest complaint is this rude starter they have out there! Last time I was there he was barking orders at my and my wife. And then yesterday, barking orders at me!! Get rid of that idiot! He doesn’t do a thing to help anyone. Heartwell never had one before! The other courses we play who have starters/rangers are very friendly and respectful. Go to Birch Hills Golf every body!
Fun in the sun
I played as a single and was greeted by a friendly staff and played with two cool dudes!
Great Course!
Great course to work on your short game. A Nicely designed course!
