Recreation Park 9 Golf Course

We had a great time at rec Park nine whole course… It got a little backed up but not too bad. Lots of part three and fours and the greens had some challenge to them which was nice. The price you can’t beat so if you’re looking for a quick nine holes, this is your place

Play was really slow. I usually play there during the week. The weekend was way too crowded.

Great game at little Rec in Long Beach. While this course is more equally split between 3’s and 4’s than most 9-holes it is still a very forgiving game. Holes 5-9 feature great views of Colorado Lagoon which was full of local beachgoers on this lovely day

I’ve played this course three times now, usually grabbing a 2:45–3:00 pm tee time—especially nice during the winter months. The course is consistently in great shape and always a pleasure to play.

I typically show up as a single and get paired with twosomes or threesomes. The fellow golfers are usually a bit better than me, but always easygoing—no bad attitudes. By the 9th hole, we’re slapping each other on the back like long-lost friends.

As a high-handicap senior who’s officially retired from any dreams of the Senior Tour, I can say this course is a fantastic value—especially when booking through the GolfNow app. It offers just the right amount of challenge to keep things fun without being frustrating.

Was able to get a good deal for 230 tee time, was able to get 11 holes in before sunset around 445. Great price, good conditions after rain still very good conditions.

Great walking course with enough of a challenge for Seniors (like me) that struggles with what end of the club to hold. Wide and forgiving fairways. Greens had a moderate speed, good condition. Can't wait to come back.
