Beech Park Golf Club

I had heard great things about Beech Park Golf Club from a few members I know, and the course looked excellent as we drove up for our 9:30 AM tee time. We were actually playing the course to see if it would be a good fit to join, but the experience completely changed the moment we walked into the pro shop. As a two-ball playing golf for the best part of 30 years, my playing partner and I have rarely encountered such an unbelievably rude staff member. We were made to feel incredibly unwelcome as visitors. It is a massive pity because the course itself was in great condition, but due to how we were treated, we will definitely not be joining or returning.

Front 9 very average, not memorable at all. The back 9 is excellent and challenging, up there with the best.

Greens and fairways in great condition

First time playing here. Absolutely perfect for me, flat, forgiving and in beautiful condition. Would strongly considering joining the club after playing.

What a great days golfing on a great track in super condition in every aspect We were a three ball and all of us found a good challenge on different areas of the course and we got bought out by the slick greens on more than one occasion

I was going to play a local public course but it was booked out as it was a last minute idea when myself and work pal finished early. So I hit up the gold now app and beech park popped up for €22. I was happy just to get a round at 6pm on a sunny summers day so wasn’t expecting much but when I got t there I was actually blown away. Top top course. Open enough but unforgiving ata times. Juicy rough made it interesting but the holes are literally all beautiful and so well kept that you’d easily play 4 times that for a midweek game. Staff were so so nice, super obliging really had an interest in making sure the golfers all enjoyed their rounds. Amen corner had everything… it even still has one or two of my balls… looking forward to going back.

The course was in great condition, especially considering the recent rainfall. Pro shop was decent, staff were very friendly. I didn’t get to sample the bar so that’s a must for the next visit!
