Deer Brook Golf Club

For the course to be down for as long as it was I thought it would be in much better shape. The greens were pretty smooth but felt very slow compared to old greens. Hole 11 and 17 still have the most ignorant dips in the greens. The rest were done very well. I do feel it lost some of its challenge with changing the greens

While playing, often lawnmower noise observed. I they did not stop while we were on hole.

Cart charge died middle last hole….walked some, got pushed back to clubhouse. Did not play hole out.

Deerbrook is one of my favorite courses, but don't not play it a lot, the pace of play always seems slow. I enjoy the layout

Greens are under construction so they were like hardwood floor. Fairways made up for its part. Hospitality and the food were spectacular!!!

They just sprayed and killed the greens in preparation for new greens. The are playable and fast. The rest of the course is in perfect condition

The course needs a lot of watering in the fairways and tees. Sand traps were in excellent condition with soft, deep rake sand. The greens were cut so short that if the putt did not go in the hole, the ball would roll off the green. It was like putting on a pool table! The greens were so hard that they did not hold the approach shot.

This course typically has great maintenance with really good greens but they are letting them die to resurface....wish I would have known before driving 65 mins. Greens were crusty, mostly dead and extremely hard with most shots running over the back of the green. Other areas like fairways needed mown. Definitely the worst condition I ever seen for this track. Course will reopen in August after new greens come in.

Course is nice. Bought a token for range balls but machine was empty so I had to go back to clubhouse for a refund. Course used to be really nice but the greens are really beat up with some and lumpy. They are bent grass and should be in top condition in April .

Fairways and roughs in good condition. Sand traps were somewhat compacted, but did not affect the shot. Greens were medium to fast speed, rolled true, held most approach shots. All greens had numerous non repaired ball marks.
