Crescent Oaks Country Club
About
Located just north of Tampa in Tarpon Springs, Crescent Oaks Country Club sprawls across rolling hills dotted with sparkling lakes. The narrow course has a traditional layout that was carefully carved from dense woodlands, making it a challenging test. The lakes as well as a meandering creek come into play throughout the golf course. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers along the greensides. The par-5 10th is one of the most memorable holes with an elevated green and a ridge cutting across the middle. Par is considered a good score on this tricky hole. The golf course finishes with a par-4 dogleg left that features water along the entire left side of the fairway. The green is also protected by sand on the right and water on the opposite side.

Great Value Florida course
I love the layout. Small greens. You can't be wild off the tee. Fairways are good. Greens are good albeit a little slow for my taste. Lots of bunkers strategically placed. Your tee shots should be strategic so as to set up approach shots that don't need to carry bunkers to the small greens. The only thing I didnt like, and this is a problem at A LOT of Florida courses, is if you get off the fairway the lies can be pretty bad... sandy and weedy lies. Although this is a problem that nearly all Florida courses have because of the soil, heat, and drought conditions. Also a bonus, the clubhouse bar and restaurant is nice with patio seating if the weather is good.
Fabulous Condition in this Drought
Course is in great shape with minimal dry spots. Nice landscaping however you have to walk long distances to the greens from the path. It was very enjoyable and I will definately book again on a weekday afternoon.
Great course!
The price we got on golf now for a weekend round after 2pm was excellent! I have payed $100 to play there and was happy with that, getting it for under $50 is a steal.
Very happy to play this again
We have a drought in are area. All the courses are suffering. onsidering that the conditions at this course were very acceptable. I had not played it in several years. Clearly they have poured money into it and it has regained the previous luster.
Decent course
Played this course for the first time. I was expecting a lot better conditions considering the price. Paying $100 a round I’d expect the course to be in tip top shape. The bunkers were in bad shape, felt like you were on a wet beach and the geo fencing was terrible, there were areas that were marked off that didn’t make sense and the carts shut down when you got close to the fence line without going passed it. Having to deal with that was super frustrating. The staff was nice, greens were in great condition but fairways could have been better. Overall average for the price.
Love this course!
Course is very well kept with amazing fairways and greens! Feels like a 5star course from the moment you arrive.
Great course for the price
Staff was great and friendly. The course was tough but we had a great time. If I’m ever back in the area, I will definitely be playing here again.
Perfect day
Played Cresent oaks yesterday. Just a perfect weather day. The staff always friendly teamed me up with another single. We Played a 3:30 round at a nice pace where you weren't waiting on wvery hole. The although in need of water like every where in Florida remain in fine shape. I definitely recommend this course golf lovers.

Oaks
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Ranger helped with pace. Liked the layout. Had ballwashers on every hole.. a rarity nowadays. Bathrooms were clean. Carts and gps good. Turf good except rough and drought doesn’t help. Good greens, rolled true
Was good once
First time to play and found the course challenging, but needs some help.
Tees were bare mostly, traps need redone, greens were very bumpy. Seems like a lot of courses now money on carts and clubhouse not on the course.
Didn’t play
We had an emergency and forgot to cancel our tee time. We were charged !!
Not happy
Crescent Oaks Golf Course
We played all the courses in the area the last couple weeks. We played Crescent Oaks twice. Crescent Oaks is the best! The course is in very good condition, the greens are phenomenal and the course is very challenging. The staff is fantastic to work with. We like this course the best and this is the one that I personally most frequent!
Nice greens
Tee boxes are pretty good. Fairways/bunkers are decent. Greens are really nice. If you’re outside of the fairways it’s a goat track with all different types of dry beat up grass and sandy areas. GPS was questionable at times.
