Would thoroughly recommend. Greens were in fantastic shape. Very receptive. Fairways were quite hard as you would expect with the heat we have been having. Very enjoyable course and will be rebooking.

Hot, dry conditions have rendered many golf courses difficult to play and this one especially so. There are many severe slopes where even a straight drive down the middle can end up with a lost ball rolling down a hill into the woods. But, that's part of the fun, and part of the challenge, so a shorter club and careful course management can mitigate. On the upside, a 540 yard par 5 was reachable for me in three where I'd normally expect to take 4 as I'm not a big hitter - and I birdied it, which, immediately after 2 pars, was icing on the cake. The greens were excellent, the staff all accommodating, the tea afterwards in the clubhouse refreshing in a welcoming atmosphere. A great day out.

I was a member here for a few years around fifteen years ago. The course condition is the best I’ve ever known there and is a credit to the ground staff and management. A wonderful days golf.

Considering the weather recently, absolutely fantastic conditions. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming, checked in with us post round to get our feedback and ask about our experience playing the course. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Had great time planning on going again played really well course was very well considering how much rain there as been usual places were a bit bogged up but overall good

We have played this course a number of times over the last few years, I have to say that we have always had an enjoyable round until today.

The members at this course were among the most unwelcoming and down right rude thy we have ever come across. The play was slow due the conditions today. Whilst we were on the fourth fairway a group of members decided to simply walk by and proceed to tee off !! Not so much as could we play through.

Sad to say, but we will not be returning to this course, purely due to the conduct of its members.

Played today and wasn’t expecting to be great due to recent weather but all holes were open and course in fab condition considering recent weather. Nice course with a few tricky holes. Maintained well and well adapted to winter conditions. Will definitely play again.

Longer than your average course in the area with some tricky but fair holes, well worth the money and will definitely be making a return. You have to play the blacks off the first, great tee shot

Played here for the first time ever , the best part of the course were the tee boxes,greens ! Hit 70% of fairways only to find the ball had bounced, rolled into a cart path,stream,4 foot undergrowth long grass, due to sever slope undulating fairways.Lost 7 balls,No water in ball washes ! Putting on green turned around to find play behind bounce on green, felt pushed ! A blind uphill par 3 250 odd yard hole ,pro's would do well to make par ! I know that golf coarse are barren of grass ,due to drought conditions ,but on the whole found this course not enjoyable for me ! Challenging ?

Myself and my dad are fairly new to golf, this was our first visit to TPGC and it did not disappoint, pretty much on my doorstep and will 100% be returning, clubhouse nice and modern, very welcoming, course has difficult shots but all a fun challenge, highly recommend trying it.

Only slight downside is lack of driving range for proper practice beforehand.

Staff in Pro Shop great. Biggest problem we had to play off mats that we had to carry around. Also some temp greens.

We were not aware of this when booking and gave up after 7 holes.

It would be lively in the summer and will try again

Great layout and course - a bit of work on some of the greens -looks like a great deal of work being done re drainage on the last few holes - which doesn’t affect curent play.. should be a London term solution 👍👍

Booked last min as a stop off on route to watch the British masters. Got on a hot deal making it cheaper than usual.

Value for money was there at that price, unsure if I’d go back and pay full green fee.

Course in good condition, challenging in parts but also fair.

Lots of variety in holes.

Chipping area, putting green and practice net all average but enough for before a round.

We managed to book the hot deal at a bargain price but got there an hour early. The gut in the pro shop let us tee off earlier after we'd had a knock on the practice green.

The course is in immaculate condition, the fairways and first cut are like carpets and the deep rough is knee deep. The greens are almost flawless and are nicely fast.

The members that we met were all very welcoming and the guy in the bar was brilliant. After the round we had some amazing beef rolls, Guinness and ciders while watching the world go by in a lovely beer garden.

All the members of our 4 ball rate this course as one of the better ones that we've played and we play loads of different courses.
