Riverwood Golf Club - Riverview/Meadowlands Course

Hadn't played this course in 10 years. Very enjoyable and challenging. Course was in great shape, carts were new, play was very timely. It was a solid value.

I was paired with a lovely couple who're members of the club. Perfect weather meant more people of the course and I expected a slower pace. The course was dry due to lack of rain recently. But it was fair. The greens were slow course. The pace improved a bit after the group ahead of us decided to leave. On the back nine my partners also decided to leave and I was left playing alone which meant a much slower back nine. But I didn't expect it to come to a complete halt after 3 holes. there were a group of 4 with two children. they allowed the kids to putt which meant even slower pace. I could not play through as there were two groups ahead waiting on the next tee. so I decided to call it a day. I drove an hour to play this course and left disappointed

Great staff, went out early and neve rushed. A little windy but the pace was easy. dry day, the greens were a little fast. Can't wait to go back out for another round.

No over seeding was done so everything was dead but for some reason the fairways looked like they had been recently aerated.

Pace of play was beyond poor. No marshal once you got on the course to keep pace of play going. Only marshal was at the first T I guess just to police who played.

No kart girt

Walked up to check in and the two working appeared more interested in talking to each other than checking people in or getting orders at the bar. They were not rude but just oblivious and not paying attention.

Thankfully got a hot deal for half off the regular Sunday morning rate

Course was a fun layout but the conditions made me wish I would have picked something else and saved playing here till like late April or May

Starter was incredibly cool and relaxed especially with a frost delay throwing things off. Course was a bit chunky in areas.

First time at the course, I will definitely return. I like the layout I like the speed of the greens. I like the pace of play . Keep the prices where they are. I’ll be back.

Greens are pretty slick. Fairways are dormant but plenty of grass. Overall, a good play....Deer Run nine is a beast!

1 o’clock tee off single didn’t catch up to the threesome ahead of me until the ninth hole joined them for the back nine . not my best day, but the course was great. Fairways and greens were an excellent shape. I just wish I played better.

Challenging layout. Course was in great shape when I played. Just beware of course yardage. I played whites as I usually do and it kicked me hard. Later to find out it was 3350 yards. Usually play about 3000 for 9 holes. No colored flags so really difficult to know pin placement and was not given any hole position number. So really hard to pick a club

Course was in good shape and fun to play for a first timer. They do have a chipping area and practice green.

Got there nobody talk to me except for the girl at the front in the kitchen. There was nobody at the front desk where they were supposed to be. Family checked in wasn’t sure where to go. You’re out there. It was OK course it was pretty nice. Cart, girl. came around a couple times. It was great. She had food drinks and then she was gone for a long time. I don’t know where she went, but she kept coming back around, but you had time to her.
