River Ridge Golf Club

The course was in incredible shape for the number of people playing the day we played. We were waiting every hole and the people behind us were playing right up on us. It was a club, however, so the prices were paid were probably higher

Took 4 1/2+ hrs on a Wed. afternoon...ridiculous...no ranger in sight.

Course is in great condition....could use a little more sand in the bunkers.

Cannot say enough about my experience with River Ridge whilst in the USA, as not only is the practice facilities very useful & in great condition, but overall the course was too.

The course is both undulation, challenging for all levels & pleasing to the eye.

I have the pleasure of playing with 3 no. members that not only made me feel welcoming, but offered first class advise whilst playing.

Would i return to River ridge when next in the Rayleigh area ? MOST DEFINITELY

The variety of holes make this a fun place to play. Every hole has something unique about it. No two holes are the same.

This SHOULD be an excellent course. No water to drink on the course. Bugs were very bad. Pace was slow (stopped at 9 holes). Divots everywhere that we not fixed. On the plus side, course was visually appealing and a good mix of hole types.

What a pleasure playing golf at River Ridge Golf Club. We've had quite a bit of rain the past week and our local Club conditions were quite wet. We opted to play away at River Ridge. We were pleasantly surprised with the condition of the golf course. It's a very playable layout with some holes that really test your shot making skills. The pro shop staff was welcoming. They had a small area with food and drink. Overall, the experience was very favorable.

Booked a last minute tee time as I hosted a friend from Minnesota and our tee time elsewhere was canceled due to weather but got on River Ridge no problem. We were pleasantly surprised. The course was great shape even with heavy rain for days. Greens rolled beautifully and fairways were fantastic, save for a few wet areas.

We absolutely loved this course and will be back very soon.

Was hosting a friend from Minnesota and we played a couple of courses I saw were ranked high in GN. But this one was by far a much better course within 30 miles radius. The fairways were excellent, greens rolled very fast and true, and the course layout was very fun. It's a risk reward on some holes. Relatively not very long as we played blue-white combo, but gave us a chance to hit almost every club in the bag. We played after heavy rains in the area, but this course was in much better shape than the other two we tried and were more expensive. Definitely coming back here.

Took my daughter out and got paired with 2 great gentleman who supported her to encourage her to get in the game. Cart ladies also were patient with getting the orders. Food is always good at river ridge and the staff are accommodating.

Greens fast and smooth. Sand in good shape.
