About
Neuse Golf Club was ranked as one of the best public golf courses in North Carolina, second only to Pinehurst. The layout winds along the Neuse River across rolling hills that are dotted with rocky outcroppings. Towering, mature pines accent the landscape as well, especially along the fairways. Each hole provides a dramatically different challenge and unique scenery. Views of the winding river can be enjoyed on almost every hole. A variety of bunkers and doglegs are strategically placed throughout the golf course, demanding both accuracy and thoughtful strategy. The design closely follows the natural contours of the hilly terrain. Dramatic elevation changes guarantee that flat lies will be hard to find. The golf course is no easy feat but the beautiful scenery and interesting hole designs will appeal to any player.

Great Course, great staff
This course exceeded our expectations. From the clubhouse to the course a great experience. Will definitely be playing again real soon.
Needs some work…
Used to be a great track with amazing greens…it might be because of this time of year but there was no grass anywhere anything around the green was just mud. Greens weren’t as good as they used to be. Pace of play was much better than how it was before you would be out there 6 hours.
Great Course
Very good golf course. Extremely challenging greens to read and putt but fair. The bunkers need some work as far as new sand but I will play again.
1st Tine T The Neuse
Cart path only today so it was a little rough but overall an enjoyable round of golf.
Looking forward to the next time.
Wrong Group
Awful pace of play had us at a crawl. Waited on every tee box and the marshal asked us to pick up our pace of play on the 16th while there was a group on our fairway. Not only did he pick the wrong group, he was incredibly slow to come out. A 3 hour round took 5 hours.
Not satisfied. Cashier always squeezed in members to play in front of us.
They allowed 5 somes in front of us. This is not the first time, it happened also the last time we played in Neuse.
The starter always allowed this five somes squeezed in front of us per instruction of the cashier.
Worth the drive
Excellent tee boxes, firm fairways filled with fun banks, firm but grippy greens. Staff was chill and out of the way. Everything flowed well and folks looked happy to work there.
Charged a No Show Incorrectly
Booked a round on GolfNow for 12:20. Arrived at the course and the 12:20 slot was blank but not reserved but my name was under the 2:20 slot. We played the blank 12:20 slot and then 3 days later I was charged a No-Show fee for that 2:20 slot. A miscommunication between the 2 systems should be the reason I get charged a No-Show.
Awesome
First time playing. Course was in great shape, challenging to where you have to hit some golf shots , and we didn’t have to wait on a single tee box
