Wellen Park Golf & Country Club

One of my favorite places i have played . I love the mixed tees and course layout. I scored my best round in 15 years. You don't have to be a big hitter. Precision wins at this course. Loved it. If I could afford it I would definitely be a member here.

Everything is usually fine when playing Wellen course. But yesterday our group of "4" surrounded in front of groups of 2 plus groups of 1 and 2 behind us must have complained or your gps on us made you give us warnings of pace of play. How do we keep up with groups 1&2 playing behind us?? We don't blame the ranger,but you made us rush because of smaller groups were behind us waiting. We even let a solo play thru us to accommodate him and he was thankful. We had a normal pace playing other to refill water at stations which I guess slowed us up minimally. Our group didn't appreciate us being singled out for slow play when small groups are on your tail consistently. We all love the course and were surprised by these warnings on the cart screen and the innocent ranger,who was very a nice man.

The course was nice, it would have been nice to have known the greens had been punched.

Fairway and tee boxes are in very good condition. The greens were still sandy but this is a great course.

This course is typically one of the best in the area. Today there was a lot of GUR on many holes, greens were recently aerated but they weren’t rolled making most putts bouncy. Also, maintenance workers speeding around everywhere or standing near greens making it frustrating. I teed off at noon so I wonder why so many maintenance workers were still out on the course at 2pm?

No complaints just seemed different than my previous visits

This course has a great layout. It is best for cart golf not walking and is beautiful and enjoyable game for men and women and for a range of level of golfers handicaps/experience.

Staff are great! Not sure if non members have access to a restaurant but the downtown Wellen Park has several places within a couple of miles.

I love Wellen Park, but it is rough shape. Yes we have had a drought, but the fairways are all tight lies and brown. Aeration was recent.

You needed a foot wedge to find some green grass. It is a great lay out, friendly staff I would recommend it but needs water and higher cut on the fairways.

The fairways look awful, what happened this placed looked great over the winter. Was disappointed I drove 45 minutes for that course condition.

Got a tremendous rate… why??? Punched course! It was still fun and playable even though not perfect!

We have played Heritage Landing, and Webb reserve, both Lennar courses. I much prefer the other two over WellenPark. The greens were fine however there were a lot of rough spots in the fairway. I won’t complain as we got a decent price on Golf Now, however, I will choose a different course over this one. The layout is just so so. Nothing exciting and no holes that stand out. It was very warm as we expect as it is summer however, there are no trees or shade. If the heat bothers you, I wouldn’t recommend this course.The staff was friendly, however there are no amenities to speak of. They did mention the snack bar at the turn, but we were looking for more of a nice sit down for a drink and lunch.
