Granada Farms Country Club

Fun, challenging course. Staff was super friendly. Bobby was so polite and pleasant. Greens were beautiful. You can tell there are improvements underway. Our only dislike was if you miss fairway, hard to find your ball as grass was a bit high. We played at Players Ridge few weeks ago and did not have a good experience (impolite staff, confusion booking fee time, cart stalled in fairway, etc). We’ll continue to play at Silos.

The course is under new ownership and they say changes are coming. Cart paths are in awful shape with tree roots and broken pavement everywhere. Bunker sand is inconsistent at best and tee boxes are uneven for foot placement. The bones of a good course are there so hope money is invested in it. Can’t beat the price.

Course is coming along great! The greens may be the best in the area! Playing again next weekend!

Finally made the hour plus drive from Rutherfordton and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful old dairy barn / clubhouse with a ton of potential for a dining venue. Fairways were in good shape but the greens were like near perfect carpet. Much more hilly than expected which made it feel like a mountain course which I like. Lots of twists and turns and a laid back vibe. Lots of work was going on which tells me they are willing to make further improvements. Cart paths were pretty beat up on some holes but they are working on making them better I will definitely be adding this course to my rotation.

Enjoyed our round. Course is improving since the last time we play here. Staff is friendly and always helpful. We had a delay ion the first tee, but things moved along well after a couple of holes.

Has some growing still to do.

The price was good on Golf Now but the course was rough...tee boxes uneven, fairways sparse in many places, yardage markets often missing. The greens were decent but slow. Cart paths are mostly broken up and jarring to drive on. Tree pruning and brush thinning is evident.

Greens were slow, hopefully the greens are much better in time.

Course under new management doing great things! It is a really fun layout. A few months away from being really good.

This was the first time me wife and i played this course and we had a great time. The staff was very polite and helpful in the pro shop, and had plenty of drinks and snack available. Course was in great shape and fun to play. The front 9 was challenging. Only downside is there is no driving range to warm up before your round. I will definitely be back though.
