Beautiful scenery, interesting and challenging layout. Course in very good condition

This is a fun course, managed by a terrific staff! They had some maintenance issues in prior years, but have now restored every green to an 8.5 or better on a 10 scale. Local knowledge is a big plus, as a few holes (#4 & 12) can require a lay-up position shot from the tee, in order to avoid unseen hazards. We really enjoyed ourselves once a particularly slow group waved us through on 12, explaining a pace-of-play rating of 4 stars. We will definitely be back several times this season!

Good day. Didn’t do good but that’s not your fault

I really enjoy Mountain Harbor and regularly travel the 25 miles from Franklin to play. The course is in very good shape considering the amount of rain the area has had in the first few months of the year. The crew made the right decision keeping carts off the course for an extended period of time in April, it payed off. For the first time I have to say a bit about the pace of play, today was awful. There were two foursomes that quite frankly made it difficult. Playing from the wrong tees for their skill level, waiting for the green to clear when they had no chance of reaching, hitting multiple balls, long searches for lost balls. Generally poor etiquette. I’ll be back for sure but today was a challenge.

We use to play this course year around but we quit playing here two years ago when several of the tee boxes (Women's) were completely removed, tee boxes became chewed up, and several of the greens were horrible. 3 or 4 years ago this was a top course and t looks like it is slowly coming back. All the staff has always been friendly and this is a beautiful but difficult course. Sand is needed in the sand trap on hole 14 and it could use more weed eating and mowing in some places but it has been raining a lot. We hope the new management keeps this course on Golf Now and that they keep this beautiful course maintained like it should be..

The course is coming along quite nicely after an unusually wet and cold winter. Not sure if the drainage is inadequate or they received a lot of rain, but the course was extremely wet. Cart path only was mandatory.- Staff was very welcoming and friendly

Today when I got there, after they printed my receipt and as I turned to walk out they informed me that I would have to play the front 9 twice in order to get 18 holes played. They had the back 9 closed. After we loaded up and got ready to play they informed me that it was cart path only. Worst experience I’ve ever had at this course. Won’t be going back for quite a while!!

For early in the season, the course is in pretty good shape. Greens are slow but in good shape. There's been a lot of rain and there are some wet spots. I like the new bridges they've put in over newly formed water areas. We stopped after nine and had a great lunch. Menu was limited but food was very good and the service was excellent. We had a great day and will surely return.

Course was in terrible condition!! Beautiful layout but the course that was once very nice is now horrible!! It would take months and lots of money to get this course to where it should be! VERY disappointed!!

Absolutely love this course. Considering the time of year and As much rain as we have had recently the course was in pretty good shape. Greens were slow and there were four holes that were very wet and were cart path only. This is a go to course for me in the summer months. Great course, really friendly staff, great value for money.

This is a great mountain course with a great layout and unbeatable views! The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make my whole golf experience very enjoyable. I’m a member of course in north Georgia that’s closer to my house but if I lived closer to Mtn. Harbour I’d join there instead in a heartbeat.

Two cons: cart path only and greens punched and sandy. Have to to make Course better later.

Pars 4 and 5 are to long. If you not a long hitter no chance of making par. Only on the pare 3s. It is a mud hole right now. But so are all the other courses around here. It was cheap though
