Very nice course in great shape. Greens are hard to figure out some are not cut the same. Great job getting 16 and 17 greens back

The Ridges Golf Course rates a 10 in my book as one of the best golf courses I have played. The fairways were in excellent shape. Greens were a little slow but were very true to putt. Loved the rolling hills and the blind shots which made the course play with some challenge. Very little water and sand traps on the course. Staff was very helpful and the club house was beautiful. I will be bringing friends on Sunday to play the course again. I would recommend the course to everyone who wants to play golf in Georgia.

I have played this course with some regularity. I really love the layout, and the staff, including the cart lady, Celeste couldn't be nicer!! I rated the course conditions "Fair" because the staff has been fighting a "blight" problem most of the summer, and while they've made great headway on resolving the problem, they still have a few issues, including temporary greens on 16 & 17. They also just punched and top dressed the greens, and I don't need to remind any golfers about how unpleasant that makes a round. :o(

Course was in pretty good condition, fairways, roughs and most greens. Signs warned of Temporary Greens, but were not what is usually considered a temporary green... basically they drew a rough circle in the fairway, cut in a hole and stuck the flag in it. Putting was not really an option because the grass was an inch to two inches tall. Plus they charged $10 for my wife to ride around the course with me. They were not hurting for space. In fact they paired a walk in single with me that had no tee time... All in all not a bad layout or condition, but i woukd not pay full price to play it with courses lime Brasstown Valley just down the road at comparable rates.

Very nice Willard Byrd design...scenic mountain views...some very challenging holes...however there were 2 temporary greens that took away some ambiance...one of them was the #2 handicap hole.

Always enjoy my outing to the Ridges.

This year, the course wasn't quite up to snuff, and we did not know ahead of time....the only disappointment.

Two temporary greens; and as they were cutting the grass on the course, there were shavings left on the course (a little pet peeve of mine; the ball can get lost if it is right off the fairway). Otherwise, the usual fun outing on a scenic course.

This golf course has some beautiful views.

Course was very wet from several days of rain, so cart path only. Good layout and challenging. Played from white tees so not long. Greens were slow, but playable. Two temp greens due to "marine blight". That was disappointing. Should have listed that on GolfNow before reserving. Will plan to return in the fall when it it drier. Great views of surrounding mountains.

Love this course. Very nice mountain views with some challenging holes.

The only problem were the greens. They were working hard on keeping them alive, but had lost a few of them. Had 2 temporary greens. I have played this course a lot the last few years and really enjoy the layout. Hopefully they can get the greens back.

Nice Course design. Elevation changes create interest. Good landing areas off most tees; some challenging. Fairways & tee boxes in very good condition. Several greens were in poor condition, bare spots & sand filled spots (GUR). In addition two temporary greens in fairway. Sand hazards terrible ... red clay, not sand! Carts & paths in good condition. Well spaced comfort stations. Competent, friendly staff. Decent golf shop, nice bar area. This course could be 5 Star but wasn't close today.

This place was fantastic. Forget the fact that it is a steal at $30, the layout was great. Amazing views throughout the round. And it is a very fair test. I weould play it again for sure!!!

Upon arrival learned that two holes had temporary greens due to repairs and all recently aerated. Then learned tournament was taking place ahead of us and causing delays. Late tee off, over 6 hours for 18 holes. Love this course, failure to notify of conditions beforehand inappropriate.

The bent grass greens were not in good shape...bare spots...bumpy...in this part of the country, they need bermuda greens due to the heat...!! First time playing the course...lot of local knowledge needed...will play again.

Friendly, eager staff. Couple of greens on the back were less than stellar (appeared to be getting extra care), but overall condition was very good. Definitely recommend.
