Good morning open course
We played in the morning. A few old balls tried to push us on the back 9 who were really disrespectful. A few blind holes. Course was good and pace of play good. 2 greens under maintenance with stakes including a par 4 and 3; those greens were in very poor condition.
Greens need work but they’re working on them! Rolling fairways, tough little golf course
Good bang for the buck!
Course fairways and tee boxes and 80% of the greens are in good shape. They keep the greens slow so you have to really adjust, as they almost lost a couple greens that are still in tough shape. Challenging course, but fair except two tough holes. A couple tee boxes slant downhill too much, so have extra long tees to compensate. Like the course overall....
Me and my father in law really enjoyed playing here. I will definitely be going back again! It was nice that it wasn't packed so we could take our time and not rush.
Continually working
I actually enjoy this course. I’ve only been playing for a few months now, but it does seem like they are trying to make this courser nicer each time I’m there. There is still a bit of work to be done to get in in good shape but it is a fun challenging course.
Interesting layout
Fairway and roughs were in good shape. Sand traps were hard packed sand. Greens were medium speed, not holding the approach shot, putting true. Grass on greens was missing in spots on several greens (30-40% of greens) and somewhat long, leading to the medium speed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great layout and sceneries.
The mountain and the lake was a great mixture. Greens need major work. They are working on the greens and fairway. I can't wait until they get done with the renovations.
Improving
Played here two months ago and the course conditions have improved dramatically. Some of the greens still have sandy areas but the correct grass with no poa annua anywhere is a good sign. The 14th green looked almost perfect. Definitely worth playing again as they improve the conditions.
